Yes I didn't know epilepsy could be life-threatening. He looks a bit like an older version of Danny Mac here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ra...nning-jockey-Walter-Swinburn-died-age-55.html
Michael Nicholson has died, one of the best war correspondents in the days when you didn't necessarily have to attend Oxford or Cambridge University to make it to the top.
John Buckingham, the jockey who rode 100-1 chance Foinavon to victory at the 1967 Grand National, has died aged 76. The horse was turned down by three other jockeys but as Johnny later recounted: "I would have ridden Dick's Donkey to be part of that race." He won because a loose horse cut across the field at the 23rd fence and Foinavon remaining so far behind the pack remained unaffected, proceeding to win by 15 lengths. Buckingham retired from competitive riding in 1971 and became a jockey's valet. http://www.banburyguardian.co.uk/sport/racing/former-grand-national-winning-jockey-dies-1-7744929

I see the Gran out of the Royal family also died yesterday, shocked me really because I thought she died years ago.
