They make a decent pizza
Lester Piggott dead. Legend. Well, a legend who didn't want to pay his taxes and went to prison for it. Rumour has it that when they first tried to put him into a jail cell, he kicked off and wouldn't go in. Took four guards to try to manhandle him into the cell but they still couldn't manage it. So they put a hood on his head and spun him around three times and he went in no problem.
Olivia Newton John gone
Tell me more Tell me more
Not dead but Salmon Rushdie has been stabbed at the launch of his new book...'Buddah the Fat Bastard'.
Bearing in mind I've been on another sabbatical but was this a dig at Tony surely?
Haven't got a clue what I was babbling on about
The Queen has died
I'm not a royalist but she has been around forever and always seemed a nice person unlike some of the other leeches in her family, plus I'm all for anything that gives us a paid holiday.
Could be two slick.
Might get one for jug lugs coronation
Thanks for letting us know Slick. That news had completely passed me by
You're so right ODM, I think I'm the only person in the world that hasn't met or have a story to tell about her.
Coolio dead at 59
Great actor and I suppose his weight did him no favours but an average innings nevertheless so well done him.
He was a true larger than life character in more ways than one , he could switch from acting to comedy in a heartbeat and be equally at home in either role.
I usually judge a person by asking myself would I go for a pint with them? Who wouldn't go for a pint with Robbie?
Coolio on the other hand
Never been a Harry Potter fan so he will always be cracker to me. Cracker was genius. Genius writing, genius acting, genius all round.
Penhaligan (don't know actress's name) played a brilliant part. Robert Carlisle kind of made his breakthrough as the skinhead pshycho and Christopher Ecclestone was in it as well but whoever took the risk of casting a comedian as the main character made the difference between an average drama and an unmissable one.
This one makes me sad. RIP RONNIE RADFORD
Read it as Bonnie Langford on the new post column on the home page, I came in thinking Punt was going a bit soft lol.
