Ray - Ray Armstrong

The Oakland Raiders loss in Pittsburgh was gutting ( lost in the closing seconds ) and annoying ( way too may mistakes ) in equal measure. A bigger and somewhat weirder story has come out the game involving Raider Linebacker Ray - Ray Armstrong, who is under investigation for barking at a Police Dog and pounding his chest.

He reportedly lifted his shirt and taunted the animal shortly before the start of Sunday's game and according to reports,the dog became difficult to control and could have potentially attacked.

On the surface, it does not sound too serious, but taunting a police K-9 is a third degree felony in Pennsylvania and is punishable with a maximum seven Years in jail

First saw reports of this Yesterday, but did not think much more about it, but it has been reported, by several UK media outlets today and one assumes will get a paragraph or two in Thursday's " Red Tops "

Ironically, the Steelers injured Quarterback Michael Vick, was famously imprisoned for 21 Months, for his part in a dog fighting ring, a point which has been picked up by many.

The organisation could probably do without the media circus, especially with a Big game coming up Sunday with the Vikings. Armstrong however is very much a fringe player and with TJ Carrie and Nate Allen hopefully returning, he most likely will see very little action.
