Going to wait on team news before i part with cash on El Classico. I have a felling Barca may not take this serious enough but will wait and see.

Have taken the HT draw myself in Madrid v Barça - last season the cup games between these two tended to be cagier affairs than the league games. The Copa del Rey final was 0-0 after 90 mins, and both legs of the Champions League meeting were goalless at HT. Reckon we could see something similar here, but rather than risk the 0-0 HT I've taken the safer option.

Marca are interpreting it more as some kind of plan similar to the one Mourinho used against Barcelona with Inter, basically parking the bus. Not sure how that works exactly when there are three attackers, but that's what they're saying (although a midfield of Lass, Pepe and Xabi Alonso certainly looks pretty defensive).

Be interesting to see how they line up.
Soccernet have Pepe at the back and Altintop in midfield

Not sure ODM - Barcas' passing game is nowhere near where it used to be and they do not close down as well as they used too

Ramos is cutting it fine with his offside line and linesman has actually called a couple wrong. Messi and Fabregas have been quiet.

Still think this is too close to call - next goal decides the winning team i think

Pepe is fucking radge !!!! FACT

Guy has got talent as a footballer but is a complete bampot (clever yes but also a liability)

Really enjoyed it as a spectacle although not a lot of goalmouth action

If Madrid continue to play against Barca like that, Barca won't need to be at their best to beat them.

Effectively 5 defenders and 2 holding midfielders, inviting Barca onto them and asking for trouble. Mourinho is getting beat with the same strategy against Barca majority of the time. Real at home should be having a go.
