ODM, I hadn't read your post, but have just had a quick 5 minute glance through the cards, and picked out 3 of the horses you're on, Sir Des Champs, Rubi Light and Divers, plus Big Bucks as well. The way my betting has been going of late, I can only apologise in advance, as you may as well write those 3 off right now :embarassed

I like this ones consistency. Worth a good place bet IMO.

I'm on Hectors Choice, plus Holmsfield Legend & I have the Cockney Mackem in a perm with Sir Des Champs. Just had Smad Place e/w & have a double going on from Big Bucks to Long Run.

Had a nightmare re Sir Des Champs with 32red, dont use them, I'll explain in a bit

Slightly down on the day, sunnyhill pulling me back. The Sir Des Champs debacle with 32red costing me overall profit on the week, c'est la vie :unsure No offer email tonight I notice

Been through the trends, & these are my shortlist:

1;30 - Baby mix, Darroun, Grumeti, Pearl Swan. all up there, but favs only won 1 in 10. Baby Mix is favoured I reckon

2:05 - difficult, looking @ Local Hero & possibly Citizenship. Stats say theres only been 1 winner @ 25/1+ from 150, but only 2 favs won in 11

2:40 - tricky one. Looking @ lovcen, Boston Bob & possibly Mister Eckhart

3:20 - got a double with Big Bucks going on to Long Run. Dont think Kauto can win it tbh, certainly wont have my money on it, possibly a bit of Burton Port & Knockara Beau

4:00 - no idea yet. Trends point out Barbers Shop, Boxer Georg, Bradley, Chapoturgeon, Count Salazar, Enter Paradise, Salsify, My Flora.......might give this one a miss

    4:40 maybe Bourne

5:15 - astracad, norther Bay, Irarah. only 1 fav won from 10

At least I get my money back. That's the most I've won on a horse for years.

    I've spent ages cobbling up a placepot today. 32 lines @ a modest 30p = £9.60 staked.
I'll be doing place only singles too on b/f.

    3.20...7 Long Run
    4.00...6 Cloudy Lane & 13 Merchant Royal
    4.40...17 Grandads Horse & 18 Make A Track

Todays 30%plus overlays in a couple of h/caps.
    2.05
    Via Gallilei 58...5th 33/1
    Desert Cry 55...6th
    Local Hero 47
    Edgardo Sol 45...2nd 25/1

    Last day,

130 Pearl Swan and Balder Success
205 Olofi and Alderwood ew (28/1)
240 Brindisi Breeze and a saver on Boston Bob
    320 Synchronysed ew,
also Synchronysed ew without the two favs and Midnight Chase ew w/o the favs
400 Cloudy late and On The Fringe ew
440 Three decent ew's Open Hearted 14/1, Dan Breen 25/1 and Grandads Horse 16/1
515 This is likely to be a biggish bet for me given the form that Henderson is in and the fact that AP would give his last breath if it meant the difference between losing and ending the festival on a winner - Kid Cassidy.
    De Boitron ew
