So when do we get the official results then? What time we likely to get bets settled?

BARB release their overnight figures at 9:30am. Betfair settles on those so should be quite speedy. Let's just hope those who recorded Downton decided to watch it at 10 or 11 rather than wait till Boxing Day...

    Cheers Beanie.

The mrs is a big fan of both, she watched EE then watched DA straight after.

    EE 9.9m
    Corrie 9.3m(!)
    Doc Who 8.9m
    DA 8.2m(+0.5m on +1)

Door was wide open but looks like they all missed it!

For completeness, Downton won the official ratings. Guess that was to be expected - boosted to 11.5m with all the Sky+ watchers - EE only improving to 11.3m.

Eh? What did the bookies pay out on then?

If 'Doctor Who' couldn't win 2011 against 'All Star Family Fortunes' it never bloody will.

Bookies pay out on the BARB Overnight ratings, which only takes account of people who watched at the time or on +1 or same day repeats. Official figs add in people who watch recordings in the week or so after the show.
