Well England were a bag of shite suprise suprise, Italy looked a class apart although it's hard to judge how good because we were dire.
Norway were unlucky as they were the better side for the majority of their match but they just couldn't put the ball away, whoever Israel play next I'm going to back against them, if it's England though small stakes only.

I didn't watch but Pearce is no sort of manager, great defender in his day but he has a piss poor CV when it comes to management.

I started watching it Punt but after 10 mins I thought what the fcuk am I doing watching this crock of shite so turned over and watched the darts instead.
The writing was on the wall when Pearce was making excuses for his team before a ball was kicked on Saturday.

He was one of the best defenders around in his day, which makes it hard to believe that tactically he's not very good at all in that position as a manager. One goal in two games also and that was a pen.

I doubt even Ferguson would get much out of that bunch tell the truth Punt, the players just aren't upto it at that level.
Saying that they beat Norway twice in Qualifying, Maybe Pearce has a point in what he says about clubs holding players back after a long season and the stupidity of Hodgson taking his best players to Brazil for a stupid friendly.
