Odds William Hill

Theres a few in here I like I think, decent odds. I think a few people will think that Ipswich have a good chance against Villa with our recent results, but I couldnt disagree more. I think when you're in the mire as we are, the cups can be a release, & taking into account that Ipswich are out of form as well, losing the last 3, i think Evens on Villa at home is the bet of the round. I think the same for Newcastle, with slightly more doubt as Brighton are doing okay. Yes they knocked Newcastle out last year but at the time the Geordies were doing well in the league when cup games can work against you. For me, I'm thinking of a decent double on that pair.
Going against that train of thought slightly I can see Palace & Bolton being worth a look at decent odds & I think Wolves need to watch what their doing at Luton. They're struggling a bit Wolves, & I'm not sure that manager all hes cracked up to be, nor does he understand our game. Luton for me are the potential upset of the round.
Team news will be interesting at Loftus Road. I think 'Arry might rest a few & Albion normally do as well although obviously its Clarkes first season

I'll go along with that Swoops as Villa must be dying to take it out on somebody.
I think Stoke @ 2.4's are also worth a shout against Palace as they had a days rest against us Yesterday and recent yrs they have done well in the cup

Reason I worry about Stoke is that I've got it in my head that he rests players in the cup, & Holloway will be looking forward to this one.

Be interesting to see the Reading team news as well, as if he's playing a decent side then 6/4's good value. If not then Crawley might be worth a look

Pullis like's the cup I reckon, he knows he has the Prem sussed now for survival and doesn't mind making a go of this, that plus his sides are more physically able than most to take on any Championsip side.

Oldham are piss poor at the moment with half the backroom staff being placed on gardening leave and Dickov being left on a hope and a prayer, shite odds for Forest mind but they should be lower than that.

Villa was on my shortlust but never thought of Forest.

Double pays 2/1. i'm having that thank you

It looks to me as if the bookies have got the tie of the round :lookaround about right. Aldershot improving alightly but Lopez up front (cup tied) will be a miss. Rotherham impressed me when they won 3-0 at our place a couple of months ago, but I think it'll be closer this time. Still, I'd be surprised (and pleased) if Aldershot progress. Rotherham might need a replay to do it, though. Small stakes only as it's an interest bet and I think priced about right. (8/13, general)

Cardiff look as if they are resting players but should probably still have enough v macclesfield.

Hastings have had to ship in an emergency on loan goalkeeper for their match v Boro. Wasnt going to bet on Boro game but had a look at odds and ended up going for Boro -2 @ 23/20 (strange there was no asin handicap with laddies)

Chelsea seem to be drifting as well but cant see why but after defeat to qpr i'd imagine they would want to progress

Bugger - just realised league cup semi-final 1st leg is on next week so they'll have one eye on this (potentially) but will southpton take cup serious given league position

Wouldnt imagine Rafa can dare not thinking of fielding his best side here, tbh, Keg

TBH I liked the look of WBA DNB v QPR ATM BTW. I have no doubt that Harry is going to field his absolute minimum strength squad. Trouble is, I look at the odds an QPR's odds are shrinking so does that mean that WBA have confirmed that they're going to play a weakened team?

OMG!

You been playing scrabble :unsure

albion normally rest players for this, but its his first season

I'm feeling uneasy about it Swoops. I'd love to pile into The baggies draw no bet at 11/10 but I know I'm missing something. Something I'm going to realise ten minutes before kickoff. Is it that fucking flu bug from last week?

Its been a while so hello

It looks like Clarke will be making quite a few changes so I wouldn't touch the Albion game. Blues also like like they are struggling to name a team. Rumoured to be 10 teenagers in the squad so Leeds look a good bet at those odds.

And Bournemouth or Crawley for the upset, just not sure which one?

Yeah I found out why Charlie - thank you

I'll post it up in a min

I wouldnt touch it ODM. Clarke's shrewd & considering Albions start they've plateaued a bit & he wont want to jeopardise the position. As I say theres history there, & Charlies seen something as well. Those Leeds odds wont survive if thats the case, but a good shout at this stage.
I'd be waiting on team news for Crawley. mcDermotts new at this & what worries me is that although Reading shed loads of goals they do score as well. I thought it was value but its a leave alone I think.
No firm opinion on Bournemouth but the potential upset of the round for me is definetly Luton, & I still think Palace offer a bit of value, & Newcastle a lot of it
