Running with Punt's idea from last week. plus ODM's musing that this maybe an idea for a regular Saturday feature. Gonna start off with a couple from the SA opener -

11.30 Turffontein - D'ARRIVEE and GOOD EMPEROR - The latter is nicely bred with the jockey being 6/16 for the trainer. Could easily go well at 12's. GE was poor on debut, but has run better last 2 ( both from bad draws ). Should still have more to come at 14's, especially with Pierre Strydom booked.

12.05 Turffontein - DESERT WARRIOR and ANDIAMO - Pair of " Kahal's " here, so would have preferred them making their debuts on the Poly, but cannot ignore at 33's and 66's respectively.

1.15 Turffontein - COOL CHARDONEY - Comes out pretty well at the weights and don't think the early 14's will hold.

2.25 Turffontein - BRIGHT BRONTE - Not given a hard time when headed on last start and hoping that was just a blip at 14's,

3.00 Turffontein - WITCHCRAFT - Fair form overall and should beat the top weight on these terms. Hopefully been refreshed by the short break and really should be thereabout at 10's,
