Estudiantes could go top of the table, for 24 hours at least, with a win here. They should be at pretty much full strength for this match. Their talisman Juan Sebastian Veron is due to play in his final home match before retirement, while there's also talk of their coach Mauricio Pellegrino leaving for pastures new at the end of this season. What better legacy for both of them to leave than for them to win the Torneo Final.
San Lorenzo are the champions from the Torneo Inicial, and still have an outside chance of winning the Final, but it's very unlikely with them being four points behind the top two with just two games to play. They also have the pressing matter of a 1-0 lead to protect in the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores in midweek. To this end they're due to send a reserve team to La Plata.
Though San Lorenzo have some decent reserve players, they should be no match for a good Estudiantes team who looking for to secure a final title for Veron (and possibly Pellegrino).
