Celtic 9.5's against a Messiless Barcelona, can they do it again? I'd be surprised if they did but stranger things have happened.

It might sound biased but I can't resist City @ 3's at home, with City's home form they should be able to give Bayern a hard game.
Napoli under Benitez are looking strong too and he knows all about English football, I haven't decided yet whether to lay Arsenal or back Napoli, I have a feeling it may be the former.

PSG also look a half decent price imo, I'm very tempted.

Atletico Madrid @2.87 looks tempting after their win at the Bernabeau at the weekend maintained their 100% La Liga record

I've backed them @ 118 for the Champions League Outright and 100/1 for La Liga, Colbro.
I had a hunch that they'll go a long, long way in one if not both of those competitions.

Saturdays goal scorer Diego Costa is banned for this game, and that might be significant? He is class. They might consider a draw a good result here? Having said that, it is a very tempting price and cant be ruled out even without him. Good luck if you go with it :)

Arsenal v Napoli - Tuesday October 1st
We think it is a classic tough, Champions League match. Both teams are in impressive form this period.
The winner will have one foot in the knockout round of the competition as each team picked up three points in their opener.
It should be a strong battle, without winner.
Our suggestion is Arsenal – Napoli X 3.40+

For anyone who might be thinking of betting on Atletico even if as i assume this price has gone might I suggest taking a look at the betfair correct scores for 0-1 1-2 and 0-2?

With costa not playing and a draw being an acceptable result for Atletico a tight game is predicted and thus 0-1 with savers on 1-2 and 0-2 might be the way to go especially as of course you can cash out .

Just a thought. Better still...wait for a few minutes and see how its going... you know it makes sense:unsure

Cut to
Sky Sports 9.18 pm

" Unbelievable Dave !" Atletico are tearing porto to pieces . 3-1. What a move. They really are dark horses let me tell you..."

or

" Still 0-0 Dave....nothing much happening."

Atletico currently 3.4 on Betfair - so 10 points returns 34

Alternatively 0-1 is 9.2 on betfair so 4.5 points returns 41
0-2 is 18 on betfair so 2.5 points returns 45
1-2 is 15 on betfair so 3 points returns 45

Atletico currently 3.4 on Betfair - so 10 points returns 34

Alternatively 0-1 is 9.2 on betfair so 4.5 points returns 41
0-2 is 18 on betfair so 2.5 points returns 45
1-2 is 15 on betfair so 3 points returns 45

Well,if theyre 3.4 then betting on the win would certainly be preferable for the majority whod be betting.

I only bet small amounts on champs lge games just for some interest really as i find these group games utterly boring.

So i would problaby rather have a bet on 0-1 ((along with 0-0) and bet in running after waiting a few minutes

I assume colbro has bet on Atletico at that price

I'm on Torres to score and Chelsea to win @ 7/4. Think he'll want to put in another good performance to make sure he's still in the good books before his EPL ban kicks in

Maybe tonights Shakhtar V Man United game is a better example of hotspurs idea

Shakhtar are currently 2.64 on betfair - so 10 points returns 26.4

Alternatively 1-0 is 11 on betfair - so 3.75 points returns 41.75
2-0 is 17 on betfair - so 2.5 points returns 42.50
2-1 is 11 on betfair - so 3.75 points returns 41.75

Also PSG V Benfica PSG are 1.77 so 10 points returns 17.7

Alternatively 1-0 on betfair is 8 so 3.7 points returns 29.6
2-0 is 9.4 so 3.1 points returns 29.14
2-1 is 9.2 so 3.2 points returns 28.8

err - they are not tips by the way - in case you were thinking of frantically rushing off to lay them - just observations of hotspurs idea

Well that was a spanking and half for City and another couple calamity's for Hart which is now becoming the norm, I'll be very surprised if he starts against Sunderland on Saturday as enough is enough.
That's taking nothing away from Bayern mind as the final score flattered us.

Still, I am putting my money on Atletico, I have full faith on them.
