No odds up for Bank holiday Monday yet, i'll add those later.

No sure if i'm having a bet this Saturday but if 11/8 pops up on Barnet, i might take it.
You'd think Eastleigh should win away at Dover? Odds against.
Grimsby DNB, 2/1 @ Hills @ Gateshead is another tempter.

Good luck against FGR, ThunderCelt. I saw the 2/1 for the home and thought that looks big, but i also thought the same when i see the 7/5 about FGR lol. Draw?

A bit short on time before this weekend, i'll have time for a proper look at Mondays games and probably save a bet till then.

I'll be at tonight's game, and I want to enjoy it rather than think about my bets so I'm not getting involved. So far, we've beaten two poor promoted teams easily, and matched a disappointing Eastleigh team while playing I think to our best in the televised game. FGR are probably better man for man, but with home advantage I hope we can get something out of the game, and your shout of a draw might be acceptable by both sides.

I agree there are some likely aways, but I've not looked at them closely. Grimsby could particularly interest me too depending on team news. The Mariners are apparently now nearer full strength after their early season injury crisis. Several clubs are apparently looking over the Heed's Marcus Maddison (three goals already) so if anything happens there before Saturday they'll be weakened, as their manager says it'll be impossible to replace him.

I can't find anything I really like this week - mainly not been around to do research - so I've had some small bets; ten doubles involving five aways - Woking, Barnet, Eastleigh, Torquay and Halifax. That's simply on the grounds they're the better teams, without particular regard for value and for a bit of interest.

Barnet -1 @ 6/4 is on the cards for me. They've got goals in the team and although Dartford have only conceded 4 goals in 4 games, i can see them crumbling here. Small bet.

I'm toying with the idea of Bristol Rovers causing an upset at FGR, 3.6 is tempting. A bigger upset that i'm just away to take another small bet now is Chester @ Kiddie Harriers. I can see Steve Burr putting one over on his old club. 5.5 @ Betvictor.

Aldershot and Gateshead, two others i'm considering.

I've taken Aldershot DNB, with Paddy's 6/4. We've started well this season; we're looking solid if unspectacular. In the two games I've seen us (Eastleigh, TV) and Forest Green we've not looked that far short two of the better sides, and we've comfortably beaten Telford and Alty, two of the weaker teams.

I'd expect Torquay to be with us at the end of the season; somewhere about upper mid-table, and The Gulls do seem to be stuttering at the moment. I don't have Torquay down as low as the evens favourites some bookies go down to; I was expecting us to be about 2/1, and I think the 5/2 or slightly longer prices are a bit out of line.

However...away at Eastleigh we were cautious in our approach, and I can see that again at Torquay and I think a low scoring draw is also possible, hence I've gone for DNB but I think a draw, or double chance etc etc would be equal value. Captain and organiser Chris Barker came off near the break in Friday with a strain(?) and we looked less solid at the back without him (or maybe Forest Green just made the game more open as they looked for an equaliser) and I think the bet would carry more confidence if he plays - the club's preview says he's a doubt.

Also had a punt on Southport DNB as it looks value (edit to correct price of 29/20, BetVic). Telford have had a ropey start, and while Southport aren't worldbeaters I don't make them such long outsiders in this one.

My two games ended in draws so I got my money back. I hope Punter managed a profit :crossfingers

I did indeed TC.

I wasn't so brave in the end and a good job too or i'd of been showing a loss.

I took

Bristol Rovers +1 @ 8/13
Gateshead @ Evs
Chester +1 @ 5/4
Barnet -1 @ 5/4
Aldershot DNB @ 31/20

Trebles, 4 timers and an accy. Profit worked out about 8 times my stake. Much needed.

I need to concentrate more on this league. My horse betting and any other league has been really poor since the season started, my Conference form reads much better and is where i need to be.
