Im not really one for visiting websites for my bets etc but i don't mind the odd exceptional one. Betting websites by nature, betnod aside, are run by greedy website owners who think they can make a living from their sites and that means its up to you and me to add 'the differance that make a differance' as they won't as they only care about making money for themselves.

That leaves you and me short changed and unsatisfied with our lot. that said there will still be some websites worth a visit no?

This site doesnt cover my needs but i can't help but get all statty when im there
http://www.whoscored.com/

Excellent use of football data imo.

This site was good and still is if your into your scottish football lower leagues.

I like to absorb it once a week. I have to visit trendy old bettingzone every day too

The tipsters seem better these days than they where. Almost worth following for english div one and two.

anyone else got any decent websites they visit? Speaking of which.....i visit punterslounge about once a year. I think it was a shell last i looked. Lets see how it fares today..... ouch is that a font or just my browser defaulting? (oooo catty cat komp, hitting them where it hurts)

ive really no idea where i am going on there. Too many forums. Ach it will be ok as the owner Paul Ross is quite a personality and worth a weekly visit just to errrrrrr read his ratings (joke folks. he doesnt still push that crap on folks does he?) oh theyve got a scottish football betting forum.

Anything north of Hadrian's Wall, then it goes in here.
Please Note: Reasoning required

k so they'll estrange folks before they enter and then expect only decent posts. ok. Least with me i'd post 2/5th as much as all of you and i know that i'm a bigger rsehole than you before you type anything.

And it's dead. haha.

im looking for some decent daily horse racing tips if anyone knows of any? I used to only take tips from Seen and Beamer truth be told. No i lie ODM used to be prety solid too.

lol soz slick ive NEVER visited it would you belive. I willl the now tthough and give you a running commentry for what its worth although i know you have to have a bit of inside knowledge of the sites members to know if its worth its salt really.

Is there no 'badge' or 'awards' system for this software slick? Be good to 'click' on the punters on here that i would take a tip off. Popular complaint of new members is not knowing whos worth following etc. Fuck i could turn up here tomorrow and think 'brechin and Airdrie' where great bets. Bigkegman's on them. Seems to know what he's talking about etc but little do i....lol (soz kegs just keeping the old jokes running)

Fuck horsenap looks familiar slick :lol

Not give the punters loads of essential horse racing links on the forum home? If i saw a link to racing post racecards i might be tempted to go and pick some big priced handicap winners (sweets at the checkout etc) Yes i may know loads of horse racing websites but tthat doesnt mean i have them on the browser im using. Good if that horsenap forum had them all as i might head there JUST to click their links.

A link to here in the main menu would be good seo (and handy, if im not missing it) 'betting forum' in the primary links scores well on google. That blue link colour is nasty tooi slick soz. As per another thread i dont just critise for critic sakes. It really is nasty.

The 'main forum' at the top looks out of place too imo. I was all for clicking 'uk and ireland horse racing tips' to get what i was after but glancing at that has got me worried im going to the wrong place. lol at he ONE thread in the main forumj slick. Get that down the bottom asap imo.

Everything else seems good though. oh wait.....ouch at that georgian style font in the threads. I'd either bump it up to 16px or get something else. Its soul destroying imo.

To be picky now Sslick i think the font on the form descriptions etc is too small too. I havent checked it but no doubt its 12px 2001 stylee (or smaller poss) In this retina, em days the font is just too small for tablets etc. I find it hard to see and im on a 1900x1000 or similar tablet. Lets get a web developers pal out by opening up Firefox Web developers Version and start being a picky bastard (heh im a sad lonely man and this is how i get 'to be hard' these days) :(

As per the 'pros posting' thread i created earlier slick im getting prrobs posting a link midpost. The ajax modal thingy just crashes the page for me. I lost an hour long post on equations the other night when i was in because of it. Not a bad thing for you short term but not good long term. I do think its a jquery conflict poss with the banners on the site. anyhow....i was mid pick of your other site. who needs friends huh?

horsenap needs flash installed on the forum homepage. Again just be some daft banner thats probably costing you more money than it makes (komp do you want to just fuckk off? - i promise after tonight no one will ever hear of me again unless ive got a decent scottish tip for you. i need to stay in my hole and rediscover myself)

oooft .node .nodeStats at 11px!!!!! aye the forum descriptions are tiny just for that reason. 14px these days is the new 12px and even then 16px is the prefered. 11px really doesnt scale well and really shouldnt be seen in this day and age if im to be honest slick.

Dont forget i did say i liked the betnod input box text. It's almost perfik.

sidebar is 11px too. Personally i'd forget about the seo on the 'uk and ireland horse racing tips' slick and rename it just 'horse racing tips' (and add a nice Uk and ireland desc which if in RDF is more than enough) that would give you some leaway on the sidebar font.

In this 'semantic web' age maybe google wont like your forum desc contrast to page colours in forums either slick. (now im just making it up) dodgy contrasting fonts is a minus point in google algorythms. oh fuck 11px for body font in the threads Slick?????? nooooooo im not being rude thats just.....baaaaaad. Dont do it slick. Yes im being a small man acting big but thats just mental. Georgian font, never to be seen anywhere on the site, suddenly pops up on the threads lol its so bad that its great (although you might not be laughing - Winrew will tell me to fuck off and mind my own business too. Just as my photographic sister does when i try to explain typography rules to her and how people like symentry as its easy on the eye.

this is a good tool for font slick.

The Golden Ratio has been used for thousands of years and no one ever knew why it worked. I discovered it as i was into fibonacci and possible underlying principles of reality etc etc.

Right ill shut up. Take it or leave it Slick. As ever i just want to share the knowledge that ive had the time to gather seeing as i dont work nor have family about me.

ps im still waiting for the page to turn over from that last comment and only have an ajax 'working' thingy top right of screen. Im sure i cant be the only one thats noticed this. On chrome btw

short posts seem ok. Might be the thingy that converts links to clickable links poss.

EDIT (seems soslick. just test posted the above x5 with no links and it posted quicker than ive ever seen. Must be the url thingy

You've put the mockers on me because it's just happened to me too.
When I get a minute I'll replace the flash banners we have running.
