Ebor at York - Aug 2014

I'm going to a stag weekend in York and we are taking in the Ebor (in August) and ive got to admit it I'm buzzing already about it. Haven't been to a quality meeting like this for years. If you've early info it will be greatly appreciated not only for the horses but also where to go and not to go in York would be appreciated.

I was at John Smiths day last year Kegs, cracking day and not a cloud in the sky. York is cool, well nice enough anyway. The York Dungeons might be worth a visit after a few bevvies, it's not cheap though, probably out of a Scotsman's range

It's getting closer

I've already got a few quid riding on Havana Cooler in the Ebor. It got beat last time by Van Percy and it goes unpunished whereas VP is up in weights. There is a hot pot called Pallister which is 3/1 fav. Too short in a big race like this although it does look a beast of a horse.
