Looks like the bookies have finally caught up. No prices jumping out at me this week.

Barnet @ Evs
FGR @ Evs
Halifax DNB @ 11/8
Lincoln @ 5/4

Were all under consideration but in the end i've just opted for a small punt on Dartford @ 7/5 Corals, who will see this as a must win home game.

I agree Punter, there isn't much this. Gateshead, Barnet and FGR should all be comfortable, but the pines don't excite.

I'll look into Alfreton who apparently have been playing better than results suggest.

I can give you some hope on Dartford as I might go for the draw, meaning it'll be either a home or away win :banghead:lol:mad:a

Conceding 18 goals in 6 games:eek. That's a hell of a brave call if you decide to back them TC. A hell of a brave shout

Alfreton have had a tough start ODM and Braintree won't be a similar test. I'm still thinking about it though 'cos I think 2/1 is a bit long.

My bet so far is a Gateshead/Boreham Wood (Conference South) which pays a fraction under 6/4. Gateshead recovered from a drubbing against Grimsby to beat Altrincham last time, and at home should have enough firepower against an average Chester side. The reason for Boreham Wood is simply that they're second and Bath are bottom after an awful start. I don't claim to know much about Bath, but as my home town side I do follow their results, which haven't been good so far.

Also taken Barnet and, after some thought, Alfreton for small stakes. And Halifax DNB and Lincoln, but I can't take credit for them as Punter spotted them.

And Woking, as they're okay and Wrexham apparently have a couple of key injuries and suspensions.

Good luck Punter :crossfingers

Aldershot remain without injured captain Chris Barker. We've looked noticeably more shaky at the back when he's been missing, and given Grimsby's good run of form I think it puts Coral's 7/5 into a bit of value and I've nibbled.

Well, it's fair to say that didn't go to plan, although I can use the excuse of a couple of early sendings off... :cry

Well done to Punter on Dartford, even if that one didn't help my antepost :cry

... and you've learned that Alfreton really are shit. That could save you some money in the longer term:lol

Cheers TC, i wouldn't worry to much about your ante post to much, it's early days and i still think they'll go down too.
