Odds From William Hill

I've taken draw/Cheltenham at BetVic's 17/20. Rotherham haven't set the league alight this season as I was expecting, despite impressing me at Aldershot a few weeks ago (in fairness we've made a lot of teams look impressive this season). Their home form has been their strength, but even so they're still gettable at, with Rochdale and Southend both having won there.

Cheltenham lie third, and have only lost once on the road in eight games and have a very credible point at Gillingham under their belt. They are the form side over the last eight games. Cheltenham also impressed me at Aldershot (as I said, we've made a lot of sides look impressive recently).

Based on stats and form I have this priced up at about 4/5, so I reckon 17/20 is on the cusp of value. What's swinging it for me is Rotherham's reported injury crisis (by TEAMTalk). While that may be an exaggeration - I think some some of the wounded are squad players - the Millers won't be at full strength either which I think pushes the price into the 'value' zone.

4 units.

Good luck TC and more so with the 'shots this weekend, big game for you this one.

Thanks Punter; good luck to you to. :thumb I've been trying to find an angle on the big game for the last couple of days, and managed to persuade myself at some stage that evey conceivable outcome is value, so I'll leave it alone.

Instead I've had 4 units on under 2.5 at Rochdale. Rochdale are generally solid but don't score many and in brief are an unders side. Rovers are hit and miss in terms of goals, but I think there';s value in Bet365's 43/40. (Edited as I originally put Chesterfield :banghead)

...and a speculative 1.5 units on Brennan Dickenson anytime (7/2, general) for Chesterfield v Oxford, who lave been leaky this season. Brennan is on loan from Brighton and scored a cracker (apparently) on his debut last week. The Chesterfield message board reckons he's very bright.

Another wipepout for me. At the moment I'm doing worse than if I just laid random bets. :banghead

And Aldershot threw away a lead after dominating :banghead

I had no interest here this week other than a win for Bradford :rant so i was hoping you'd hold out for all 3 points there TC. Long way to go yet though!

Now, where's Gillsy and his jammy Gillingham team scoring injury time winners :rant

:)

:lol I'd given up on it, Punter, was in stoppage time, still 1-1 and sounded like we were playing crap, and I had to go out to take my boy to a birthday party. Checked the final score when I got there and saw we'd got a late winner (and Port Vale had conceded a late equaliser) :naughty

It's great when that happens isnt it :lol

With Bradford losing i was pleased to see that late equaliser against Vale too, Gillingham are flying and nobody beneath them are making a chase of it.
Alan Connell is getting closer to scoring, i think it's time for me to start including him in my weekly bets now.
