My early thoughts are there are a couple of outstanding prices for homes here this weekend. I've thought for a while that both Burton Albion and Fleetwood have been punching above their weight and are set to tumble a bit. Wycombe and Dag&Red are hardly flying but Betvics price of 9/5 for each of the two home wins look big. Infact there look lots of decent prices about this league this week. I'm looking no further and i'll play some of these league 2 games.

I'm off to find a bet that suits...

Aldershot
Bradford
Chesterfield
Wycombe
Exeter
Accrington
Dag&Red

Wouldn't argue at this early stage with either of Punter's main picks. Team news could be key though as both Wycombe and Fleetwood have had lomng injury lists lately.

I'm looking at Northampton, who have slowly crept up the table in recent weeks, against Oxford, who, well, haven't.

Great result for the Shot's last night TC, even better with Wimbledon getting humped. Some good results on the road of late, they need to start doing that at home now. Vale are in form, i hope you stop them in their tracks this weekend.

Gills to bounceback Rc? They might but It's a big price on them there scousers, i'm wondering if you're just going to catch them at the wrong time and with James Beatie up front for them? I could do with Bradford being within 6 pts of the Gills by the end of the year so it's more in hope than anything. A decent enough price though.

Don't know about bouncing back, Punter, I've got a bad feeling about this weekend. Accrington's the kind of northern hellhole (with apologies to anyone from Accrington, Bury, Rochdale, Wigan, Macclesfield...) where we have in the past tended to really struggle. Accrington beat us 4-3 last year and 7-4 the year before that. Admittedly this is a very different side to others we've had in the past, but we're struggling a little bit lately (from what I read, obviously, as I don't get to the games these days) - only 1 win in the last 4, despite 3 of those being at home, and that win was only thanks to a 92nd minute winner.

Have to admit if I could actually be bothered going out to the bookies then I'd be tempted to back Accrington myself.

Thanks Punter; yes, performances have been brighter and we were probably due a win. A repeat perfoarmance against one of the high fliers might be a step to far, but I hope I'm wrong, especially as I'll be there :crossfingers

Nowt from me this week as I've not had time, but had time permitted I'd have looked at Northampton and Rochdale in more detail.

On the other hand I've not been able to resist a vetry small punt on Port Vale DNB at the general 8/15, mainly as a compensation for coming away form the game disappointed. A couple of weeks ago I'd have been all over Vale at anytihng better than evens but we've picked up thanks to a couple of shrewd loans (Lopez 2 goals in 2) and we might just have enough for a scoring draw. I would be very (and pleasently) surprised with a win though.

Good luck to everyone else today. :crossfingers

Brilliant shouts on Wycombe and Dagenham, Punter clap

Pleased to have got back to winning ways myself with my more modest play, but disappointed it had to be at the expense of Aldershot :cry.
