May as well copy my thoughts from my other thread

I've looked at my stats for next week and I have some definite plays. You need to bear in mind that these are based on pure numbers and prices and are nothing to do with opinion, team news, or anything else.

West Ham to beat Fulham 20 pts 6/4
Swansea to beat Sunderland 20 pts 5/4
Wigan to beat Stoke 20 pts 13/10

Back to the draw stats
Newc and Villa to draw 10 pts 14/5

Wigan are on schedule to draw soon and no doubt, knowing my luck, next Saturday will be the one but I already have them in my ratings to back to win so I'll have to let that ride.

I'll also be putting 20 pts on Liverpool and Arsenal to draw at 12/5

90 pts staked

I was going to be all over Fulham to beat West Ham but losing Dembele is a massive loss and i now probably wont touch this game.

On the other hand Spurs have signed a great player who i think will fit in very well.

Spurs and Man Utd double

I think Villa are decent value away to Newcastle. Newcastle will struggle to reach last years heights and I fancy Lambert to get Villa moving in the right direction. 5/1 is worth chancing.

Your a brave man to touch West Ham ODM as from what I have seen of them they haven't changed their style of play from the one that took them down a couple of years ago, even in such a short space of time the Premiership has moved on and Fulham IMO are more than likely to get a point in this game.

Can't argue with the Swansea pick though as it was one of the first fixtures to jump out at me, ,y only concern here would be the addition of Sunderlands recent signings as Oneill has made a few that could turn out to be decent ones.
Still having watched Swansea this last couple of wee under Laudrup they do look pretty formidable.

I'll also go along with Wigan allthough this is the sort of game Wigan have tended to slip up in in the past, difference being this time around though is Wigan look capable of scoring goals instead of missing them, lets hope they can bag a couple this weekend.

I wouldn't argue with Man U Keggers but Spurs so far under AVB look to be on tenterhooks, I fully expect them to win but would like to see them playing with a bit more confidence before backing them at those odds.
I'd be much more comfortable backing Newcastle @ better odds to boot because on Villas current form i have a feeling Newcastle will wipe the floor with them at St James's.

West Brom v Everton looks like a tricky game considering the start both these teams have had, it seems to have draw written all over it but theres something at the back of mind that says Everton just might nick this game.

The banker draw of the weekend looks like the Liverpool v Arsenal game but with the way Reina has been shaping up so far this season I won't be putting any money on it.

I see the Newcastle v Villa game is throwing up a few mixed opinions, I think we need our resident Villans thoughts here..SWOOPS:help

You have heard of Andy Caroll, right?

LIke I said, these are my figures and nothing to do with logic or my opinion. I am feeling confident after last night's news that donkeyboy is going to be there to lump long balls up to.

As Colbro has said our pre-season stuff was okay, but we havent looked great so far, & are bottom for a reason. Lambert is bringing in his own younger lads & as long as we get through this season the signings will stand us in good stead, Newcastle, i agree, could struggle to repeat last season but the jury is out on that at the moment. where the jury is not out is that Villa have looked very, very poor. I think West Ham will struggle as I believe the fans will turn on Sam as they think they are something they're not, yet we only had 1 shot, over the bar, against them. Everton were decent by all accounts.
4/1 on Villa? Those would be the odds if Villa were mid table & Newcastle were 5th or so, so with all due respect, & I hope you're right, but you've got to be mad to want to back us there

It's my view Villa will only improve but it could take time, 5/1 is a decent price.

That's a bloody big price on Stoke, 5/2.

The new signings they've made look to have strengthened thier squad well and after a couple of draws i fancy taking a chance on them getting a win at that price. They have to overcome the embarrassing stat of not having been able to have beaten Wigan in the last six attempts and they haven't won away since January 2nd at Blackburn but that stat could end here too.

I cant get away from Evertons start either, after being shit every August through till Christmas it wouldn't surprise me to see them do the opposite this time round. Tough place to go West Brom :embarassed but Everton will want to keep the run going.

This whole Everton shit is getting a bit out of hand to be honest. Never have a good start to the season? Only five seasons ago they won three out of their first five Premiership games and drew another one. One loss out of five in the first month of the season. As usual, the media (and therefore, the sheeplike public) have gone well over the top in the normal knee-jerk reaction.

I think you should resist the knee-jerk reaction. You may well find yourself looking back in a few weeks and thinking that over evens draw no bet on West Brom was one of the best value prices you're going to see this season. This is a team that pissed all over Liverpool and held top six wannabees Spurs to a draw, yet all the talk is of how good Everton are.

I think you've all been blinded by the hype.

5 seasons ago to find a decent start, what about the last 4 and previous to that one off 5 seasons ago? As a rule Everton are poor starters to the season, you cant deny that.

And you obviously didnt watch the whole of the West Brom v Liverpool game, we could/should of scored a hatfull before half time and had the game wrapped up but our usual piss poor finishing cost us. We just went to pieces in the 2nd half.

I agree that, that was a good performance to get a point at Spurs but the yids havent started that well.

I'd rather be on Draw or Everton here and i'm chancing an Everton win.

I did watch the Liverpool game and, you're right, Suarez did what he usually does (what he did midweek against Hearts in fact before scoring) and blew three or four chances that any decent striker would have put away.

There are no shortage of people who disagree with me, I know that.

That doesn't mean that you're not all wrong:thumb

Stoke's the main team to be on today ODM, 5/2 massive price, room to cover a draw there too :thumb

3-0 up and it's not even half time yet. :thumb

I was going to reply to your Pepe Reina comment to say that I would never be so vulgar as to say I told you so but I'm feeling particularly irked today after listening to people telling me how easily Everton are going to beat West Brom that I think I'll make an exception (unfair really, because Slick never does it to me:embarassed)

If Everton beat West Brom I'm going to have to take a holiday from the internet :lol

:hatsoff

allright allright, so your due one every now and again:wink

:lol Don't worry, I'm aware that it's very rare that you get one wrong and I get it right.

:lol Well done ODM, and i bow to your superior knowledge :thumb

Cunt :)
