Can't help feeling Sunderland look a bit large, & I could possibly be tempted with Reading

Liverpool have been decidedly average this season against everyone but the best two teams they've come up against. Worth a draw no bet (2/1) or +0.5 on the asian handicap at 7/8.

Sunderland do look large but due to their lack of goals I'll be very suprised if they get a result, the draw imo would be the best they could hope for allthough I do expect Everton but I won't be touching them at those odds.

As for Liverpool ODM they do usually do well against better teams at Anfield but on the road they're a different proposition, I don't think thats a bad price for Chelsea tell the truth and I'll probably be having some of that.

I'm edging towards Swansea, they have picked up their form again lately and will push a down in the dumps Southampton all the way, those odds should be a lot closer than that.

Nothing really standoutish this week though and I wouldn't be suprised to see quite a few draws

If Mata starts then I'm on Chelsea.

Man Ure should piss all over Villa shouldn't they ??? buying money

Aye, off the top of my head United from what I remember have a great record against Villa, they shouldn't have too much trouble this weekend unless Fergie decides to box clever and rest a few players because this year he has been putting out strong squads in the Champs league after last yrs fcuk up.

Saying that I've just had a look at Uniteds team tonight and Fergie seems to have done a nice balancing act by resting a couple of key players that probably needed it, United all the way for me.

Chelsea are at home tucked up in their beds while Liverpool are out in Moscow tonight, they wont be back till Friday.

from BBC
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has left Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez out of his squad for the Europa League tie with Anzhi Makhachkala in Moscow.

Rodgers has opted not to take several first-team players, possibly with one eye on the Premier League game against Chelsea at the weekend.

Joe Allen, Nuri Sahin, Daniel Agger, Jose Reina, Glen Johnson and Raheem Sterling have not travelled.

The game in Moscow is still a bit of a hinderance, Rodgers will still have to be there.

We've had some good results at the bridge last few seasons but I dont think we can get anything there this time, probably a bit to much too soon i think.

I'm not going to gamble on it but Torres is due one against us, 11/4 score/win double @ Paddy Power is my call on the game, bit big that.

Just been doing some stat's to pass the time. Come up with the top 3 value bets for this weekends games. Please note, these are not selections. A value bet is when a team/draw is paying more than it should in relation to it's true winning chance. In other words, i run through each game, assessing the stat's, and apply a % to each games possible outcome which are then converted to odds. In the case of the games below, i believe they are paying more than they should.

Stoke v QPR = Draw @ 3.75
Everton v Sunderland = Draw @ 4.00
Tottenham = Win @ 6.00

Oh, and Kegman, you are'nt buying money with Man U. You are actually getting value. 5p's worth to be precise. I have them at 1.45

Villas midfield isnt strong enough to cope I dont think, too lightweight. wondered whether the draw was value but decided not

Villas' left side looks weak with Lichaj suspended,Bennet injured and Warnock on loan to Bolton. Not sure who will play left back but there is talk Delph could fill in:unsure. If so there is likely to be a change in formation from the last couple of games with a midfield player having to play in front of the LB.

Sounds about right Swoops allthough I was thinking 0-2, 1-3, I've noticed Stevie Ireland getting a few games lately which is never a good sign, I don't know what's happened to him but he's definately forgotten how to put in a shift, there was a time when he used to be good at winning back balls but now he just seems to roam about looking for lose ones.

There's nothing this weekend fixture wise that has jumped out at me and 90% of those fixtures could also quite easily go the other way.

We've got no tackle in the middle since Petrov has gone & apparently we won't recall Makoun from loan as he refuses to learn English. I have been toying with the idea of 1st goal in the 20-29 minutes bracket after the minutes ovation for Stan giving us a lift. Worked in the last game I think (last tv game anyway) but I wouldnt trust United not to have a couple by then

Villa have started very well, albeit playing as though away, but you do feel that this is our time in the game, & we havent scored

Just know Manure will sweep us away 2nd half, but its been encouraging tbf. Sniff of an upset?

I am reminded of us being either 2 or 3 up at Arsenal in the cup last season, & losing. We need a 3rd, sit back & we're in trouble

United were awful until 2-0 down and then deserved it, Over to City and chelsea tomorrow now

Typical United, but I would be very worried at their inability to handle an inexperienced striker like Benteke. They couldnt handle him at all
