Seems a long while since we've had a full set of fixtures.

First game of the Day Hull v City looks straight forward enough but I'm not so sure, It's a bananna skin waiting to happen and if City don't take this game seriously like they did against Wigan last week in the FA cup then I'm afraid they're going to come unstuck; not only that either way Hull are a hard unit to beat at home and will be dog'ged pain in the ass for City.
Ain't one I would touch but the way City have been defending wouldn't be surprised to see BTTS.

Stoke v West Ham looks pretty even steven's on paper and form to date, hard one to call but I'll give Stoke the nod due to home advantage, nothing more nothing less.

The Bookies make the Saints v Norwich game a pretty much one sided affair and I wouldn't argue with that, odds look spot on and it could go either way in the over, under's and btts.

Sunderland @ evens look a decent shout against Palace, Palace may have fought there way out of the relegation zone but they ain't out of the shit yet, this is a huge game for Sunderland to make their games in hand count and on their day Sunderland would beat most of the bottom half of the Prem.
This is a decisive match for the black cats and unless they are under the cosh for the latter part of this game they must only have thoughts of the win.

Fulham are in the shite too and if those odds were a bit more tempting I might have had a dabble on them because Newcastle at the moment are nothing to fear; even more so now they have near enough guaranteed safety in the Prem.
This is one game to steer well clear of unless you wan't to be made a mug of.

Swansea v the Baggies is a similar match apart from West Brom aren't a novelty act like Newcastle have become.
I'll take Swansea here because footballing wise they are a much better team and when it comes to the crunch when then pressure is on knowing what to do with the ball should make all the difference.

Everton look the banker of the day, they should beat Cardiff all day long but whenever have you backed Everton at those odds?
If you're going to take the chance then don't go over board with the stake.

Similar thing could be said of Chelsea because they don't have a great record away to Villa, can see this being a tight game myself although the odds suggest otherwise, ain't checked the AH odds yet but I'd be inclined to go for Villa if I could get over evens on +1.5 or above.

I've just nipped out for a piss and it so happens I've left the best whilst last.

At those odds I have to take a chance on the scouse; United seem to think they have turned a corner by beating Palace and West Brom but I'm not convinced because Olympiakos seemed to bring them back down to their current level.
This United side under Moye's have failed on all levels this season and Liverpool will never get a better chance to get one over on them; this game for a multitude of reasons could turn either sides season in the dozen or so games that are left.
As a City fan for once I'll be silently hoping the rags manage to pull it off but form wise Liverpool at around 3's look very tempting and I'll also have some of the overs and BTTS.

I'm going to take some of Arsenal too at those odds, The novelty of Sherwood's appointment has now wore off albeit a bit longer than I expected but it's happened and I just can't see how Spurs can stop Arsenal.
Spurs are notoriously shite after a European game and I just can't see them being on their metal or up to the task quality wise to stop the hammers.

I've been to wrapped up in Cheltenham to study the footy form this week. Hope you're right about Liverpool Slick, but i cant help but feel we're playing them at the wrong time and they're going to do us. Some have said to me that this is Utds cup final. Possibly?

I'm more concerned with Rooney's comments about how it hurts him to see us doing so well and the added boost of RVP coming out and saying he wants to sign a new contract.

A high scoring game for me which Utd will win by at least a couple of goals. I've just covered 4-0, 4-1, 4-2, 5-0, 5-1, 5-2 and 5-3.

Apart from that one i completely agree with your others.

This game is a good test to see where both teams are at Punt and from what I've seen so far this season the bookies are selling Liverpool short imo.
If both these teams play to their full capabilities Liverpool should piss it, watching United defend against against a decent strike force is like watching the keystone kops (I put the 'K' in for full scouse effect:wink.)

I know you don't want to tempt fate along with thousands of other Liverpool fans but if you win on Sunday I'd go as far to say you have one hand on the trophy.

We wont win anything with our current defence Slick. No chance. We need another Sami Hyypia. It's going to be a battle to hold on to 4th if we lose this. Seriously.

I have a sneaking feeling Villa will do okay tonight. We much prefer playing better sides at home as we can play it like an away side & don't have to make any of the running. We're almost safe & results might have gone our way earlier on. I certainly think it's closer than the odds suggest

All I can say is Come on the Villa! I've just been pouring more and more money onto City to win the title and if they fail, it looks like I'm going to have to stay in for the rest of the year :frown

I just can't help myself. I know their recent performances aren't convincing and I also know that Chelsea keep marching on and Liverpool are hovering but the prices are just daft to me. We have a team here who win the league if they win all their remaining games - that's the only stat you need to know. We have Chelsea playing tonight in a game that they could easily drop points in and Chelsea (granted after City had had a player sent off) went to 1.58 on Betfair to win the league. City were around 9/4 and are still around the 2/1 mark now. I know it takes bollocks to take that price given the fact that they aren't pulling up any trees but Liverpool won't win it (although I've backed them to beat United) and the price is just crazy.

I'm not saying it's a banker bet, just that it's absolutely the banker bet and if Chelsea and Liverpool don't win this weekend, they should end up being more like even money.

Was Jose being serious when he complained about his red card today :thinking

The reason, Jose, that you can't walk on to the pitch for 5 seconds to talk to the ref is because there is nothing in the rules that allow you to do this.

Why this baffled Shearer/Lineker and Savage too is a mystery

The latter is less of a mystery to be honest mate. The answer is that they are a pair of utter buffoons. I haven't re-wound and had another look but another example was when they were talking about the guy "spitting" at Joe Hart. It never even crossed my mind that he was spitting until they mentioned it .What he was actually doing was calling Hart a "Prick". To me, the action of forming the "P" caused a little bit of spittle to come out - that was it - no story.

Savage has somehow managed to spend almost his entire life in football skillfully avoiding learning of any kind.

I could ask my Mrs to look at an incident and I'd get a more sensible reaction than that twat.

By the way, I should clarify this bit of my post above

I'm not saying it's a banker bet, just that it's absolutely the banker bet and if Chelsea and Liverpool don't win this weekend, they should end up being more like even money.

The bold bit should read "just that it's absolutely the value bet"

And as if to prove my point, I've just watched the rest of MOTD and Savage would take Andy Carroll to Brazil.

The guy's stupidity is breathtaking
