After last weeks results I don't feel so confident this week.

Would have been tempted by Villa a fortnight ago away to Norwich but I'm not so sure now, both teams seem as bad as each other at the moment, one I'd rather leave alone tell the truth.

Same too with West Ham, before the International break they looked like they have improved a lot this season but haven't looked so clever in their last two fixtures.
Everton on the other hand seem to be slowly getting better and looked to have vastly improved their team at the end of the transfer window even though they lost Fellaini, it's one of those games though that as soon as you back Everton they are bound to fcuk up and with Everton's away form you might just be aswell to back the draw here.

West Brom v Sunderland, where the fcuk do we start here?
Both are as bad as each other but it's one of those games where you get a feeling something is going to give, it's just a matter of deciding which way.
Looking at the odd's I definitely wouldn't back the Baggies at evens so I suppose the value lies with Sunderland but it's not one I'll be risking any money on.

Newcastle have socked it to me since I said they were shite lol, saying that at the time I did say they would be fcuked without Ben Arfa but I didn't realise he was that good to carry the team on his own like he's doing now.
Never in a month of Sundays would I back them at odds on though because Hull will run them close in what will be a tough game for the Magpies. wouldn't be surprised to see Hull get a point tell the truth.

Going against any kind of reason I'm going to lay Liverpool at those odds, Southampton aren't playing too badly and are the sort of footballing side like Swansea who can trouble Liverpool at the back, I don't think they'll win but I have a sneaking suspicion they might be good enough for at least a point.

Chelsea shouldn't have too much trouble seeing off Fulham but coming off the back of two straight defeats I'd rather leave them alone at those odds.

I think I'll have a dabble on Palace, The way Selhurst park came alight when they played Sunderland mightily impressed me.
If they can produce that sort of atmosphere again then I think work ethic will push them past Swansea.
it's worked for Swansea in the past and they could get a taste of their own medicine here.

Arsenal v Stoke could be a tricky little fixture the way Hughes has Stoke playing at the moment, they have their tails up and won't be frightened to face the Gunners.
Arsenal on the other hand look a cracking side at the moment with Ramsey finding the form that brought him to Arsenal in the first place and looking better with every game.
Arsenal should win this game but don't be surprised if Stoke throw a spanner in the works.

I won't be taking Spurs @ odds on away to Cardiff either because I'm still having nightmares over the 3-1 beating they gave us lol.
Common sense say's Spurs should win but Cardiff are going to relish playing the big teams at home this season and like they did against City are going to cause a couple of upsets.

The Manchester derby looks to be as close as ever this year with both sides in a similar vane of form and playing similar football too now Felllaini has joined Carrick in midfield as another holding midfielder.
Both teams have looked a bit hit and miss this season but have rounded the week off with two strong European displays respectively, at the moment I couldn't separate them with a razor blade mind trying to pick a winner.
Home advantage could turn this game but we all know what happened last season bastard RVP got a last minute winner from a free kick via a nick off Nasri lol.
One huge bonus for City is having Kompany back as they have looked lost without him, had he not been playing then those odds for United would have been snapped up.
City also have Clichy and Richards back but I doubt very much the latter will play with Zableta in the side but I would expect Clichy to replace Kolarov because United look very strong down the right.

As for United RVP is always a threat, Rooney and Valencia are finding their old form, Fellaini always plays well against City and City's biggest bug bear Moye's is sat in Uniteds Dugout.

It's going to be an intriguing match with a hopefully a bit of spice about it, for a lot of reasons I'm not even going to try and call it.

Everton are my biggest bet this week,Lukaku makes hes debut and partners Kone upfront, and with Ross Barkley starting to shine in midfield, these players could make all the difference.West Ham have Miaga upfront, whos failed to score yet,the loss of Cole and Downing too in midfield takes out some of the creativity out there midfield.

Ive got Everton -1.5 goals @ 4.4, ive put all my eggs in one basket :)

I like Everton as well but I've done them on the Asian (0.0, -0.5) to give me half my stake back if they draw. Looking forward to seeing how Lakaku fits in because he's a fantastic footballer.

I think Villa could turn over Norwich and Sunderland to get a result at West Brom at decent enough odds. Chelsea should beat Fulham but with Mourinho stating its down to him trying to get them to play a different style of football that they've lost the last 2 games is a bit strange for me because imo they've created plenty of chances but have wasted some real great chances to put their laces through the ball instead of walking it into the onion bag.

I'm going to dabble on Draw/Home in Arsenal game because Stoke will be hard to break down and 11/4 is more tempting than 4/11

Liverpool v Southampton Prediction
I think this match will be under 2.5. Liverpool have the ability to score 2+ goals but I am afraid this will not be an easy afternoon for theirs attackers.
Saints score too few goals. On the other hand, they look to have shored up their defense compared to last year. In four games they’ve only let in two.
Under 2.5 1.75+

You may be right banirost. I don't doubt Liverpool's ability to net but I do have doubts about Southmpton's ability. 2-0 Liverpool for me.

I've gone for Everton draw no bet and a smaller bet on the outright at 7/5

I think Fulham could well hold Chelsea to a draw in that game so I've had a go at that at 9/2

Sunday's game, Palace to beat Swansea

I started off wanting to back Spurs but I heard on the radio yesterday that they have some injury worries. I don't know the details but odds on away from home is too short for me against Cardiff. I'll leave it alone.

I have no strong opinions on the big game of the day (Wigan v Ipswich) but I think City can win the Manchester derby and poor some more pressure on Moyes. I've heard some people say some nice things about United this season but I must be watching a different team because they don't look at all convincing to me. City win for me.

Saints finally, won 1:0!

He probably wont come home till Tuesday, Swoop.

:D

What a wonderful day it was in work today, so peaceful with plenty of red lads avoiding me like the plague, hence I didn't have to listen to their usual Monday morning bullshit. I caught one of the cnuts on the floor level above me doing an 'up and downer' to avoid walking past my door as he works on the same corridor lol.

:lol

Nobody mentioned Liverpool's defeat to me today either.

We both half expected that but some of the lads in work wouldn't fcuking shut up last week telling me how we were going to get stuffed.
