Ehhm looks like another tough set of fixtures.

Might have a little dabble on City considering the way Chelsea have been playing lately and the changes to management that has just been made, I should imagine a few of the players are a bit bitter and I don't think Rafa is exactly the inspiring type which Chelsea will need in a game like this, My main concern is City's leaky defence and there's a good chance Kompany could be out due to taking a knock against Madrid and leaving the ground on crutches, if that happens the City will be even shakier at the back than they already are.
Suppose it's also a good game to expect btts.

Some very similar fixtures to last week where there isn't much between the teams, Wigan v Reading should be a home win but Wigan @ odds on ? I don't think so. not when they are so unpredictable.

Sunderland v West Brom, Stoke v Fulham, Southampton v Newcastle and Swansea v Liverpool are much tougher picks and finally balanced, I suppose I could also add the Chelsea v City game to that list.
Good odds for Swansea though who are playing well at the moment and will be looking to get another one over on Rodgers no doubt.
I suppose an argument could also be made for Newcastle but I just don't trust them at the moment.

Same too with Spurs, on paper they should have no trouble beating West Ham but they seem to be struggling of late to look anything like they were over the last two previous seasons and seem to be on a downward spiral under AVB and the pressure is mounting.
Still I expect them to win on Sunday but wouldn't dare put any money on it, if anything the hammers look a nice price and I'd rather take them on the AH truth be known because I have a feeling this match will be a lot closer than those odds suggest.

My most confident bets (not that it would take a rocket scientist) would be both Everton and Man U to win and looking at those odds the bookies feel the same way.

I also have a sneaky feeling that there could be something for Villa in the Arsenal game but I don't know if I'm brave enough to take them, suppose if I were to do then the AH would be the way to go, I think I'll have a shop around.

Southampton look a decent bet , that's if Coloccini is still out injured , Newcastle look vulnerable without the curly haired bugger , Cabaye is also missing so its a home win for me ...

Villa will have my money on saturday. We played well against United & were holding City until the penalty. Arsenal are the type of side that our more lightweight midfielders can prosper in & I think theres a result there to be had. Lambert in the stand though

Holding on very lightly I'd like to add Swoops, MOTD made the game look a lot closer than it was due to our shite defending and gifting you two chances in the first half but overall it was just a matter of time b4 we scored a goal, albeit a dodgey pen I admit but it was coming, probably our best performance of the season.
I agree with you though as like I said I have a feeling you'll get something against Arsenal even if it's a point , thats why I was thinking of the AH. I just hope you put in another performance like you did against the rags and get at them early doors.

I think we can Slick, & I wasnt suggesting we were about to get anything at your place, but at only 1 nil at the non contact decision, we werent out of it...yet :naughty

Your right Swoops and I hope I didn't come across condescending talking about City like that as I was just saying what I saw, It's strange trying to say something when you've been used to winning fcuk all for years and coming second best then expecting to win every game you play without trying to sound cocky, I don't know whether I like it or not.

No bet here for me this weekend but for what it's worth i think Villa will get something too, i've got that game down for a draw.

I've abit of a feeling for Sunderland this week, Albion have W4 D1 in the past 5 meetings, after last weeks win maybe Sunderland can take that on and put a L1 on the end of those Albion stats?

The hardest game for me to predict this weekend is the Chelsea v Man City game, who's going to bounce back best from the mid week disapointments?

Dont think we're quite at the Manure games level of performance....though thats okay as Arsenal certainly aint Manure :unsure

Regarding Chelsea. cant help thinking for whatever reason, Pep Guradiola couldnt take a job for 12 months, presumably his leaving terms from Barca, as putting up with Di Matteo & then appointing Rafa doesnt make sense otherwise

Southampton look a decent bet , that's if Coloccini is still out injured , Newcastle look vulnerable without the curly haired bugger , Cabaye is also missing so its a home win for me ...
