Tough set of midweek fixtures we have here, I wouldn't be confident on any of them truth be told.
Not a bad price for Arsenal but Southampton at home is a tough nut to crack, Fulham could be worth a shout at that price considering the Injury's Swansea have at the moment but how bad are Fulham at the moment.

Everton are proving hard to beat but have a shocking record in the scouse derby; still I'll be putting this one down as a draw because I have a feeling they will get something from this game, saying that looking at that price for Everton it could be one for the AH in their favour.

Sunderland should be able to see off Stoke but I'd like to see a bit more steady form from them before risking any cash backing them.

Depending on the Cabaye issue I'm interested in Newcastle but I can't seem to call Norwich games correctly.

I dont see spurs getting anything v man city. Man Ure will be buzzing with mata signing.

Villa v WBA, Liverpool v Everton, Sunderland v Stoke and Palace v Hull have got 2-2 written all over them

Cabaye supposedly is awayas psg have upped their bid. May leave them alone now

That's a big price on Everton, i fancy them to get the win. Liverpool my have a great strike force but defensively they are poor. The back four/five have been changed consistently this season and it's doing them no favours. Our main transfer target was stolen from under our noses by Chelsea too and there's a feeling of disappointment about. Everton can nip in and pinch a result here.
Even Paddy Power sense it, they are offering 4/1 for a Liverpool win to all new customers.

Arsenal look a good price @ Evens. I think with the changes, the in fighting and the transfer speculation Southampton are going to get beat. I might even take Arsenal -1 @ 5/2 as an extra bet.

Aston Villa @ 13/8 looks a tempter for me, too.

I don't know what to make if the Merseyaide derby. On other forums Liverpool fans are saying that that only have 15 fit players which means they may have to play Flanagan who only returned from injury on Saturday. On the other hand Everton fans say they have injury problems in attack. A toothless attack against a shit defence? who wins that battle?

Part of me thinks that both managers would be happy to keep thei reputations intact with a draw so I'm pretty sure that's what I'll be going for. If Rodgers really is worried about his defence he mau pack the midfield to protect them which, given Everton's supposed attacking problems indicates a low scoring game.

What worries me is that in games like that it only takes one spark of genius from someone as gifted as Suarez or as quick as Sterling and Liverpool can nick it.

I'll definitely be on the unders for a main bet and the draw for smaller stakes.

Every bleedin time Punter says he thinks the other team are gonna win,Liverpool score loads of goals and humiliate the other team.

Im beginning to think hes dissembling in order to creep up the Iknowthescore Malvern Premier League table:unsure

:lol I put down a 2-3 Everton win in the IKTS competition, Hotspur. Insured it mind :)

The Racing Posts tip for this game was......

Liverpool to score +1.5:eek:

After-eventing?

Gimme a break,lol.

I was on 2-2. (1-1 in the Iknowthescore)

(Well I would have been. )

edit:I was making the point that even when they get a tip right its hardly a blinding one.

An odds on shot that most people could have come with. And only the one point to boot.

I will try to be less subtle in future:thumb

( I rarely bet odds-on in 90 minute markets.)

For 29.01.2014 I would defintly play two events:

Sunderland - Stoke City
20:45 CET

The motivation in the squad of Sunderland is very high at the moment. The team reached final in the League Cup, continued to the next phase of FA Cup and escaped the bottom of the table. Now the team has real chances to make this season great by reaching the safe zone and at least give it a try in the League Cup to make a good game against Manchester City. After all, one year ago Wigan won the FA Cup against Manchester City and the team was already relegated. But enough for this.

Sunderland doesn't have problems with recent injuries. The team hosts the weakest away team in the Premier League - one win, two draws and eight lost games. The win was in August against West Ham, so this could not be concerning us. Stoke City lost all three of their last games, making the team with only one win in the last seven games and five lost ones. Sunderland is with four wins in the last six games, a draw and a loss to Manchester United that was not enough for the Red Devils to eliminated the Black Cats. Odds of 2,10 for a home win in Bet365, looks great. If you are not sure, just use the Draw no Bet option

Tottenham - Manchester City
20:45 CET

Here we should hope for a goal fiesta. At least this is what the recent results of both teams show us. Tottenham has scored fourteen goals in six games and Manchester City scored twenty-four in their last six games. Aguero returned the best way he can - five goals in three games. For Tottenham there is at last a goal scorer - Adebayor has five goals in the Premier League and played only for few games this season, being benched most of the time. Now, the player from Togo is premotivated to prove his worth in the team. With Jan Vertonghen, Kaboul and Paulinho returning in the squad of Tottenham, we should be concerned for our bet as those are three great defensive players. Good news is that manager could decide not to use them after long period injuries. I think that the possible results are 2:2, and any win for Manchester City with more than three goals scored, making me bet over 3,5 goals in Bet365.

Value Bets:
Sunderland - Stoke City:
Sunderland to win & under 2,5 goals @4 Bet365
CS: 1:0 for Sunderland @7 Bet365

Tottenham - Manchester City
Draw and over 2,5 goals in Tottenham - Manchester City @9,50 Bet365
Manchester City to win & over 2,5 goals @2,60 Bet365

A treble for me tonight...

over 2.5 @ 9/20 - Chelsea v West Ham
over 2.5 @ 4/7- Spurs v Man City
under 2.5 @ 13/20 - Sland v Stoke

pays 11/4 at Ladbrokes

Good luck Seen, I was just thinking the same thing myself.

Looking forward to the City match, I can tell we're getting towards the business end of the season because for the first time this season I'm feeling nervous.

With 2 thirds of the season gone I've chosen tonight to put all my eggs into two baskets. I've rejigged my Premiership winner bets to lump mostly on City with a decent return if Arsenal win. All other teams are losers for me and Chelsea winning the Prem will lose me more money than I've ever lost in a bet in my life.

The logic is that City are 2.22 on betfair. Spurs are seen as a tough nut to crack with 16 pts out of the last 18 or something and they will be a tough nut, no doubt. The market is also expecting Chelsea to hammer the hammers and that may well happen. However, neither are guaranteed and even if City were to draw and chelsea win, City host Chelsea next week and a win would put them back on top again - that's looking at the darker side of things. City could win and Chelsea draw or lose and if that happens, City could be 4/6 4/7 this time next week to win it.

So I've judged tonight as the time to strike.

Is there something wrong with the BT Sports pundits and commentators? City were superb and they'd have you believe Spurs were unlucky on the night, there was a point during the match where I even thought the ref Mariner was in on it too; shower of cnuts!! and why the fcuk that droning twat Owen is still commentating I don't know, Lilly Savage would do a better fcuking job.

Moving on a lad a work said to me before leaving work tonight, "lump on City to be top goal scorer's tonight; they're 4/1"
No chance I said not with Chelsea playing West Ham at home, plus he's a United fan so what the fcuk does he know I thought:lol

Their commentators are fucking awful. If that cunt who was one tonight says ONE MORE FUCKING TIME "Than run reminds me of a certain player sitting beside me" I'll put my cunting foot through the telly.

:lol, that crossed my mind too and tell the truth Owen is that fcuking thick I don't think he knew who he was talking about.

And how about the fcuking camera angles on the offside goal and them harping on about how it was definitely not offside, how the fcuk can they tell when the cameras looks like it's near the half way line, and more to the point how can BTsports be serious about shooting a football match with no camera looking along the line, they're that bad that after the match they shown what looked like cartoon figures that somebody had knocked up during the break and said "yip told you he wasn't offside', Joe hart looked about 2ft5" tall and had jet black hair.

I wouldn't mind it shouldn't have been a fcuking free kick to begin with.

From the start of MOTD2 it looks like at least they are giving the more realistic impression that City pissed it
