Tis tough Punt but I reckon the previous two weeks were tougher.
Arsenal must be due a win and will have no doubt received a royal bollocking after there poor performances of late. The Baggies bubble seems to have burst but neither side can be trusted at the moment , one to steer well clear of.
I think Villa are a cracking bet at those odds, oops I was looking at your odds Punt and couldn't fathom out why they were around 2/1 at home to Stoke
2.5's Betfair doesn't seem that bad as I can't see Stoke winning two away games on the bounce and Villa are trying at the moment, although Swoops would say 'very Trying'.
Southampton v Reading should be a close game and it would take a nutcase to back Saints at odds on, they may well be on a good run of form but as so often happens in the Prem with struggling teams it doesn't last long, not at this stage of the season anyhow, unless you're Everton that is.
I'll take both Swansea and Wigan thank you very much, Swansea are starting to look like the team we know and Wigan will be lookiing to bounce back after suffering two defeats on the bounce against hard opposition and in games they gave a very good account of themselves, Wigan's biggest problem this season seems to be tiring in the last 20 mins of a game but against QPR they should have it wound up by then. Put it this way a fortnight ago Wigan would have been odds on for this fixture.
Everton V Spurs would be on my list of draws Punt, Everton are drawing far to many at the moment but are very hard to beat whilst Tottenham seem to be gathering a head of steam lately, am I right in thinking Bale is out of this one? If so then anybody thinking of backing Spurs should leave well alone.
Personally I think Everton just might edge it but the game is screaming out 'Draw'
Manc derby is another I'd have down as a draw Punt, City just can't score and United just can't defend, I don't know what it is but something tells me both managers would settle for a point a piece now then just battle it out for the rest of the season.
Be interesting to see who Fergie picks though because for the last couple of yrs he has become very defensive against us playing for a point, now they have RVP he might change his atitude which would open up the game.
Scholes will also be key here, a few yrs back he used to be a pain in the arse for City but in recent yrs City have just brushed him aside, if he plays then City will probably win if not then maybe a draw. If Both Scholes and Giggs play then put the wifes house keeping on City.
From a personal point of view recent derbys at the Etihad have failed to live up to expectations and have become rather drab affairs, in the current scheme of things and the respective league positions i don't think this game will be any different and probably end up either 0-0 or 1-1.
West Ham v Liverpool has the makings of a great game, Liverpool will go into it thinking they can roll the hammers over and West Ham now they have gained confidence in the Prem will go into this match thinking they can win.
I'm also presuming Caroll will not be playing which is a pity as he has a lot to proove to Rodgers.
I'm with Punt on this one, this hall all the hallmarks of a draw.
Fulham v Newcastle is one to leave alone, on current form Fulham don't deserve to be odds on and Newcastle with a bit of wind under their sails after the victory against Wigan could be the kick up the arse they need to get their season going.
I've just remembered Hangeland i think will be back for this game, if so then expect to see a different Fulham side than the one we have seen since his ban, it could swing the balance of power here and give Fulham the win but not worth taking the risk at odds on.
