I know a couple of ref decisions went for Chelsea v Liverpool but overall I thought they played well and for spells dominated the game. Southampton's bubble seems to have burst, Since November they've only won twice and that was against Hull and Cardiff. They've had a couple of good draws v Man City and Newcastle but throw in defeats to Sunderland and Villa it doesn't make decent reading.

Chelsea at Evens looks a tad skinny but I think an away win here. Given that Chelsea beat them beginning of December 3-1 as well.

I may also take Everton as you know how I love aways - got to go - getting shouted at

I thought Chelsea fully deserved the win and looked very good against Liverpool, Kegs. I know there was a couple of dodgy decisions but they are starting to look like title contenders along with City and Arsenal.
I was surprised to see them at Evens and I'm going to have some of that too.

Spurs might get something at Utd again, I might look for a bet there too.

I'm having some of Chelsea too, I know it's going to be hard at Southampton but with all these games coming along at once; Chelsea and the size of their squad should be able to cope a lot better than the saints, this is where rotation should be paying dividends.

What let Liverpool down was two hard games in a short space of time, after half an hr they looked a bit jaded against Chelsea but to their due they kept on going, with no European football they should be there or thereabouts come the end of the season for a champs league spot at least, thats not to say they can't win the Prem mind because there not that far off City or Chelsea, a couple of decent players in the Jan transfer window and who knows.

It looks a bit of a minefield this week pick wise, I might have a dabble on Palace because they are shwoing a lot of bottle under Pullis and will be gee'd up by their display against City; plus Norwich aren't the best travellers in the world.
Was nearly tempted by Sunderland but they are just too hit and miss for me, they are playing well enough but need a decent striker asap becaue they aren't putting away their chances, same too could be said of Villa but home advantage should give Sunderland the slight edge.

To add to the usual Villa Vlaar line we will be without third choice CB Ciaran Clark who will be serving a one match suspension and fifth choice CB Herd is also injured. Vlaar is back in training and may play but if he doesn't I'm not too sure who will play alongside Baker at the back. Lotwon perhaps or a junior Donacien.
Benteke is back in training as well and may feature too. All in all in assessing Villas chances tomorrow again will be wait and see the line up before really making any choices.

It's not who's playing alongside Baker that worries me, it's Baker himself :frown I haven't looked since saturday but going on what Colbro says Villa are unbackable

Got the feel of a big day at half time. villa winning at sunderland having shown how important this game is by gambling on Vlaar & Benteke. Fulham levelling against West Ham who are down to 10 with the influential Nolan sent off, & Palace drawing with Norwich. If Cardiff can get something against Arsenal (0-0) & Albion against Newcastle it's well interesting
