Football Foresight iPhone App

Hopefully this doesn’t come across as too spammy and is actually something you might use, it’s not a blog, a tipsters £4.99 pdf or a referral link but a useful football betting tool for any would-be football punter.

We’ve just finished building an iPhone application to compare head-to-head statistics for teams in the top 4 English leagues. There’s various features and statistics and data is automatically downloaded when available, all for 1.49, no ads, no paying for additional pieces, 1.49 for 4 leagues worth of data and head to head statistics to help you smash the bookies. The below link has full details and some screenshots, we’ve spent some time making the user experience as nice as possible so hoping it’s something you will genuinely use and take pleasure from using.

If you have any feedback I’d love to hear it too, we’re currently working on the next version (which will be free to download if you’ve already paid for the app) with the ability to filter results across the whole database so you can see stats you want.

Hopefully you all had decent returns last night (although fuck QPR, accumulator buster!)

Hi and welcome Foresight, allthough it is Spam I suppose it's not spam as we know it and I'll let it stay unless anybody objects to it.

ODM will be the one who knows best mind as he's the only member of the forum who can afford an iphone.

Thank you, appreciate that. I'm hoping it proves useful and helps gives us punters the edge, I built it for myself to be honest, I think most of us do internet betting but useful for the times where you jump in the bookies and want a quick reference of how a few teams are performing that's available offline.

My feedback would be, why would I spend anything on an app when I can get the stats from the internet.

I wouldn't even bother looking at it to be honest.

Well the reason I built it was for betting on the go, I don't want to be tied down to a computer to choose when to bet. Now while you might argue that you could just as easy go on the web to get the stats most stats websites aren't built for mobile and it's an absolute nightmare. Not only that, the stats are there offline too and very simple to get to, with 3 taps I can get head to head stats, results between two teams, and it's not just for betting, when I'm with mates down the pub or out and about and you want to look something up. I've had absolutely fantastic feedback from everyone that's used it, each to their own but I think 1.49 is well priced for what it gives you. I'm happy to provide some free promo codes, just drop me a message and I will send one across for you to redeem on iTunes, would love to prove where it's value lies.

Don't worry foresight, If you had just invented the toaster he'd still have a moan about it, I'm impressed with anybody that has a new idea and decides to put it into action.
good luck with your little gizmo.

That's very good of you mate. I'm sure someone from here will be happy to take you up on your offer - someone who would actually get some use out of it. It's not something I could see myself using.
