Good morning guys,

I've been out of the forum scene for quite a while as I've been fairly busy house-hunting and been even busier at work, so not had a lot of time at all. heard from slick about the new forum here so I thought I'd sign up and see how the crew were doing. I hope you're all well.

Right, I need a little help!

I'm off to the greyhounds at Sheffield (Owlerton) on Saturday evening (28th) and basically need some general advice on handicapping and also, if anyone can throw me some nice value tips later in the week, I would be most grateful.

I'll be around, so see you soon.

Cheers,
ST

hello mate, good to see you again.

Topdog is your main man for that. Im sure he'll spot this thread before long

Hi ST glad you could make it.
Like ODM mentions Topdog is probably the man to help you with the dogs.

Ok.

As far as im concerned stats mean everything when it comes to punting on graded dog races

So trap wise, concentrate on the inside traps of 1 & 2

As in last couple of months those two boxs have won 47% of all races

Trainer wise the most in form couple are E Parker & J Davy.

Both had 2 winners each at yesterdays meeting

Forecast and tricast suggestions are combo of 1,2 & 6

Have a good night mate, its always good fun going dog racing

Hi guys,

First and foremost, I thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I only had two winners, but came close with a trio and plenty of second and thirds. I would've had a few more winners had I not backed them in trios and forecasts, but hey ho.

Results:
Out of the 15 races: 3 trap 1 winners. 4 trap 2 winners. 5 trap 3 winners. 2 trap 4 winners and 1 trap 5 winner.

I won with Angel Fancy in the 8:25 - £5 @ 3/1 and with Gogetitjen in the 8:55 - £5 @7/4

Afterwards, we ventured next door to the casino, where I bought £10 worth of chips and played some low stakes roulette. Managed to win another £40 so was a good night all in all.

I left the house with £80, and returned with £46 - this included around 10 pints, a kebab and a taxi!

So nearly half the winners came from traps 1 and 2 as Topdog predicted?

He knows his stuff that lad.:zhail

Glad you enjoyed it Super Tyke
