10.30 Scottsville - BAY OF DREAMS - Notebook horse after what I felt was a decent debut effort. The 50's on offer today suggest I am the only one that saw that but certainly looks a potential improver.

12.15 Scottsville - MORSE - Patchy form, but capable at best and first time blinkers added at 8's.

12.50 Scottsville - SONJADOR - 3 length 4th, last time out and the form has been boosted by the 3rd,5th and 6th. Really do not get the 12's currently on offer and see this one going of 7's or 8's.

1.25 Scottsville - TWICE THE FLIGHT - Off 18 weeks and fluffed the start a bit on previous 2 runs. Is however down to a rating of 66 ( from 80 ) and should be capable of exploiting that mark. Question marks are there, but for me 14's overall does look big.

11.05 Scottsville - SPIRIT OF DACHA and HEARTENING - SOD looks a nicely enough newcomer at 33's and Heartening can improve for the blinkers at 66's.

11.05 Cagnes Sur Mer - LIBERTINE - Back off a break, but finished last season with a decent listed 4th and does go on the surface at 18's.

1.30 Punchestown - MICHAEL'S PICK and DOWN THE HIGHWAY - 2 of the better " rags " for me at 66's and 100's respectively.

2.30 Punchestown - CASEY WEST - Slipped up when holding every chance in sole Point. Interesting on debut under rules at 25's.

2.50 Southwell - LITTLE INDIA - Same mark as when 2nd here last time and happy with the extra 2f today at 10's.

4.20 Southwell - BARONESS RACHAEL - Yet to place in 9 starts, but only 8/1 last time and visor added today, so no forlorn hope at 12's.

5.10 Exeter - NO WORD OF A LIE - Notebook horse after decent debut 4th and should improve today at 7's.

No bad 'uns here with Morse and Sonjador both placing. TTF was just pipped for 3rd and BOD did improve but only for 6th. Thought originally it was a mixture of horse and jockey, but looking back on it, the bulk of the issue was with the horse. Barely ran in a straight line throughout and is definitely still learning. Still got closer than on debut so is improving and can see it winning soon.

Neither rag was close enough in the cross country race, but the other 4 all placed so did procure a nice place acca.
CW was steadily backed all morning and opened 12's on course and went off 8's. Fair to say they knew they had something there as showing potential in a Point would not be enough on its own. Should get 3m+ in time, so could be another worth following.
