11.05 Turffontein - DIWALI ROCKET - Hinted at promise on debut and immediately has the blinkers added, so would expect more today at 33's.

12.50 Turffontein - DOUGLAS DRAGON - Solid pair of 2nd's was followed by a disappointing 6th last time. Willing to forgive that poor effort at 4's.

1.25 Turffontein - MICKE'S BOMB - Seldom beaten that far and ran well last time when beaten 3 Lengths. That race has produced subsequent winners and MB has been dropped a couple more points down to a rating of 72. Nice draw as wll and definite upset potential at 22's.

3.15 Turffontein - TWENTY DRACHMA'S and VESUVIO - TD continues to run well at 4's and Vesuvio gets in here off a nice low weight and won his only other try this trip at 8's.

2.00 Downpatrick - BACKONTHEGOAGAIN - One of 2 Colin Bowe runners on the card and this winning pointer has bags of potential at 10's.

2.32 Downpatrick - DIVILSKIN - The other runner form the Bowe stable and this ex Paul Nichools runner has been backed form 10's into 3's.

2.45 Gowran Park - HELP ME RHONDA - Has shown potential in maidens and makes handicap debut off a fair looking mark at 8's.

3.32 Downpatrick - CIRCUS ACT - Versatile as regards trip / ground and whilst a bit up and down, can go well here at 11's.

4.40 Doncaster - FORGOTTEN TREASURE - Slowly improving sort and the step up to 7f can bring about more improvement at 5's.

5.30 Salisbury - VIN ROUGE and FEYHA - Looks a 2 horse race on the betting, but do think this pair can get involved at 8's and 25's respectively.
