I'm liking the chances of Leaper's Wood in the 1245 Redcar. Dropped 3lbs for its last race where it broke badly. Back at 5 furlongs and I disagree with the Sporting Life that it needs more rain to be in with a shout today. Only one run at the track and that was poor but in a higher grade so can be ignored. Best when ridden handy and I'm hoping it will break better today and be up with the leaders and keep plodding on for at least a place. Bit of money for it which, whilst rarely putting me off, is always a confidence booster. Currently 8/1 for 4 places ew which I think is a good bet.
Will probably know my fate early over this trip. If it breaks badly, its chances are likely to be gone.

10.40 Kenilworth - AFFIRMATION - Stable 3rd string on debut, but nicely bred overall and the dam was half decent, so happy risking an EW bet at 25's.
11.15 Kenilworth - INNER SPACE - Another newcomer, this time at 50's. Odds on should take the beating, but not convinced by the bulk of the field.
12.25 Kenilworth - MOUNTAIN RIDGE - Completely unfancied last time out when running an OK 4th over a trip too short. Should prove more effective back up to 7f.
3.30 Kenilworth - DUCHESS OF STATE - Decent comeback run, but still got eased in the weights. 9lb claimer booked as well and leading chance on balance of form at 12's.

12.00 Wolves - VELOCISTAR - Poor debut effort, but bred to do much better. Huge leap required, but don't mind risking the 66's on offer.
12.35 Wolves - BODAK YELLOW - Stable going well and has run some nice juveniles this year. This one looks nicely enough bred on debut at 16's.
1.30 Wolves - D'ARCY SPICE - Not convinced by the fancied horses at the prices, so going with this nicely bred sort at 16's.
1.45 Redcar - BEECHWOOD EMILY - Getting the allowance from all of her rivals, stable does well here with its juveniles and looks nicely enough bred to make an impact at 25's.
2.25 Kempton - JUNGLE BOOGALOO - Lightly raced, though does need to clean things up at the gates. Huge risk, but looks capable if breaking better at 20's.
3.40 Leopardstown - DANGER MONEY - Stable in good enough form to risk a small EW at 50's.
