12.35 Turffontein - CLOTH OF ICE - Notebook horse at 3's

1.15 Ascot - ELASQUE at 14's

1.20 Gowran - RARE FLOWER at 50's

1.40 Newmarket - DINOO at 28's

1.45 Turffontein - UPCLOSEANDPERSONAL at 5's

2.10 Greyville ( Durban July ) - PADRE PIO at 33's

3.40 Turffontein - ROYALTIGER - Notebook horse at 20's

3.40 Gowran - ROSE TINTED SAND at 10's

Having a quick look in South America and imagining it will be as volatile as usual -

6.45 Concepion - CATRALITE and FLOR DEL CARMEN - Couple of big movers from the early prices ( 33's into 12's ) and 28's into 8's) but did not really like either. Going with this pair instead at 16's and 50's respectively.

Having a quick look in South America and imagining it will be as volatile as usual -

6.45 Concepion - CATRALITE and FLOR DEL CARMEN - Couple of big movers from the early prices ( 33's into 12's ) and 28's into 8's) but did not really like either. Going with this pair instead at 16's and 50's respectively.

Neither of the shortened horses ran anywhere and Catralite was un - steerable at the start. FDC ran a nice race and looked a possible winner, before having to settle for 3rd at 50's

7.15 Concepion - CHICO JIMMY and STAY CLEAR at 25's and 33's respectively.

7.15 Concepion - Adding BATTLE LINE at 40's. Looked originally at this one and it was 14's. Not much interest at the that price, but got to have a small EW at the new price.

9.15 Conception - Combination FC / TC with these -

EL CHINCOL ( Step slow with this one as the original 33's, quickly became 8's )
RAYO REAL ( Good overall record and looks best over this trip at 8's )
COYA DE LA PAZ ( Possible improver at 50's )

10.45 Concepion - TACITA DE LECHE and SENORA ANGELITA - Initial price of 14's for TDL looks big to me and would expect it to go off at a single figure price. SA needs to find some of her better form, but is capable at 28's.

TDL opened 6's, so got the price right at least. There was a bigger differential though as Chilean Willy opened 5's, having been available at 33's.

Plenty to go through. Firstly wins for Pure South, Bridge Native and Many A Star. Frustratingly there were a pair of 2nd's at 50's from Dinoo ( only beaten a head despite the big drift ) and Castello Sforza ( well out the back for a long way and got matched at some fancy prices on the exchange ) Jungle Inthebungle ran well for 3rd at 33's. Hidden Spark also placed having only just got headed late on.
