11.05 Vaal - CAPE DIAMOND - Couple of fair efforts to date, but does not look the most consistent. Last time out not bad and the better ground today should help at 12's.

11.35 Vaal - ROUGE ALLURE - Has a squeak at the weights and 12's looks a touch big to me.

12.05 Vaal - DIAMONDS N DOLLARS - Notebook horse following a pair of decent efforts at 2's.

12.40 Vaal - SERGEI - Not a lot in either start to date, but 5's today suggests this one is better than he has shown so far and certainly bred to show more.

ROMEO'S MAGIC at 8's
FOREVER LIGHT at 14's
ENRIQUE at 20's

5.20 Gowran Park - LECALE LASS and JUMPING JET - Both are making their debut under rules, both are nicely bred and both stables have had a little bit of success in Bumpers. Overall happy taking my chances at 33's and 50's respectively.

7.00 Newcastle - DANIELSFLYER - Could not live with the pace last time, but back up to 7f tonight and lurking on a decent looking mark at 16's

5.20 Gowran Park - LECALE LASS and JUMPING JET - Both are making their debut under rules, both are nicely bred and both stables have had a little bit of success in Bumpers. Overall happy taking my chances at 33's and 50's respectively.

Plenty of money around for Jumping Jet ( quickly halved in price to 25's, opened that and then was backed into 14's ) and the money was justified as she romped home by 29 Lengths.

Won nicely at 16's and did have both doubles covered with the Gowran race.
