12.35 Kenilworth - PORT LOUIS - Poor last time, but had a nice break since and should come back refreshed today at 8's.

2.00 Turffontein - SAIL THE SKY - Been with Circus Lights for all his 3 career wins, but that one is just too short today at 2's. STS had been a bit of a no - show since winning at Durbanville, but came back to form last time and can threaten off bottom weight at 14's.

2.20 Kenilworth - SEEKING PEACE - Should get closer to the FAV on these terms and EW shout at 16's.

2.35 Turffontein - ORIENTAL BOUQUET and RUNWAY BOMB - Both can get involved on best form at 20's and 25's respectively.

2.55 Kenilworth - NIGHT BOMBER - Pretty consistent and remains on a fair mark at 6's.

Saturday 3rd August

3.35 Goodwood - Glenfinnan 20/1
Left Andrew Baldings yard for Michael Dods back in April and in the subsequent five races for his new yard has acquitted himself fairly well and his fifth in the Wokingham reads pretty well and if he can show the same level of form then i think he should definatley be on the premises. That run in the Wokingham showed he doesnt mind the hustle and bustle of a big field and whilst you need a bit of luck in these kinds of races i think hes improving as a sprinter and is in the best possible hands for these type of distances / races in Michael Dods. Trainer sends just this one here today , had a winner earlier in the week here which we had on this thread and anything Michael Dods runs here at Goodwood warrants a second glance , especially in this race which he won in 2021/2022 .. Has a 29% strike rate overall at the course , and is 100% here this season , jockey Connor Beasley in the driving seat and he has a win and a place form his five rides to date , 11% strike rate in the last three weeks and when teaming up with the trainer over the same period they come away with a 11% strike rate. A few others catch my eye but at the prices i think Glenfinnan is worth a pop.
I was really tempted to put up Euchen Glen for the 2.25 , a great old war horse who for me you can never discount but if i think it'd be more my heart ruling my head than anything .. might have a little dabble tho

3.55 Thirsk - AMERICAN STAR - Going day when winning at Chester last month and dangerous if in the same mood at 16's.

5.55 Galway - MISS DISHY - Good 3rd last time and makes stable debut today at 20's.

6.55 Windsor - SIXTYGEESBABY - Nicely bred and 7's into 5's for today's debut run.

7.55 Windsor - ESCOBEDO - First time hood and re - applied tongue - tie offer hope for this one at 10's.
