2.45 Fairview - SKRIK VIR KIKS and TALCA - Pair of lively outsiders at 33's and 20's respectively.

3.20 Fairview - OASIS QUEEN - 2nd run after rest, blinkers left off, drops in trip and EW squeak at 33's.

2.55 Leicester - CROOKSTOWN - Has won off this mark and whilst poor last time on return to chasing, is taking a drop in class. 12's in a 5 runner event does look big.

6.45 Newcastle - ZAMJAR - Decent win here 2 ago and this event looks no stronger.

7.15 Newcastle - NEW ABBEY ANGEL - Last win came off a similar winter break and reamins on a decent mark.

8.15 Newcastle - FAST KAR - Irish raider who shaped nicely last time out and every chance at 7's if building on that.

4.40 Greyville - NIGHT LOCK - Drops in trip, gets the 9lb claim and in with an EW chance at 20's.

NIGHT LOCK, backed and won nicely at 14's.

5.15 Greyville - Gone with 3, all at EW prices -

HOLD THE LINE ( Only wins this c & d. Has claims on good penultimate run and surprised to see the 14's )
WINTER AURELIS ( Below best lately, but enjoys this c & d. Can feature at 12's )
SHARP SEATTLE ( Has come down a long way and not beaten that far last 4 starts. Still quite lightly raced and interesting at 20's )

6.30 Greyville - Again going with 3 -

KINGSMEAD ( Blinkers added, lightly raced, drops in trip and back on the poly, chance at 14's from plum draw )
QUINTELLA ( Weighted to go close and always a danger on the surface )
COLMANT ( Has the speed to get involved, just needs to put an entire race toether at 25's )

Kingsmead gambled into 8's and won easily. Quintella looked a threat, but could only manage 4th.

7.30 Greyville - COP THIS - Lightly raced, improved in latest, and strong pace should help negate the drop in trip. Can't have the FAV at the price and 4 of these look to have no chance, so happy going EWwith this one at7's

Cop This an easy winner at 15/2. Nothing from the English runners but 3 Greyville winners saw me do OK.
