Starting off over in South Africa -

11:40 Fairview - SHINE LIKE A STAR - Bare form figures not that good and to be fair, has been a while between wins. Not beaten that far on any of last 3 runs though. Draw still not ideal, but is the best one he has had in a while. Should prove dangerous at 6's, getting weight off all his main rivals.

12:45 Fairview - GLOBAL EXPRESS - Bit better last time and step up in trip looks fine. Blinkers left off and is getting weight all round. EW shout at the early 20's
 
Lovely late drift as well as a very brave win. Took it up early and fought back when looking beat

2:55 Cheltenham - THEEAGLEHASLANDED - Pretty decent when completing and as a lightly raced 5yo, should have more to come.

3:40 Bangor - MATCHAWAY - Similar level of form in both Irish starts and interesting on first run for a new yard.

6:00 Dundalk - BALTHAZAR - Early drift a concern, but officially too big now at 22's. Certainly looks a decent sort on breeding and the stable does get winning debutante 3yo's.

6:30 Dundalk - CHEERS BUDDY - Always a danger here and looks dangerously handicapped.
 
South African L15, taking in the penultimate race at Fairview and the last 3 from the Evening meeting -

2:35 Fairview - NIGHT DANCER - Fair recent form and IMO worth a crack at the Mile.

6:45 Greyville - ROCKY BAY - Fair efforts last two and arguably best at this trip.

7:15 Greyville - DIVINE WIND - Brave filly, who is in fair form and has a nice weight. Good draw as well and do think the early 11's is too big.

7:45 Greyville - ATTIC VIEW - Has ability, but just need to learn to settle. Bred to get the trip, so interesting to me at 25's.
 
4:05 Greyville - Odds on has had plenty of chances, so happy to oppose with these -

ROY'S WHISTLE ( Much improved latest, could show more if blinkers work )
AFTER MIDNIGHT ( Nicely bred newcomer at 20's )
GOLD SAIL ( Had plenty of chances, but much better last time. Chance at 25's if able to follow up )

4:40 Greyville - AGUSTINA and GALLIC FIRE - The former has run well so far for a pair of 4th's and natural progression sees him go close. GF does not often get beat by far and best effort have been here. EW squeak at 25's.
 
5:15 Greyville -

DRURY LANE ( Fairly solid since 2nd at 100's and does go well here )
ACADEMY PRINCESS ( Not so good since win 2 ago but drops in class & has claims on earlier form )
BELLA MIESQUE ( Lightly raced h'cap debutante, who won her maiden nicely. Interesting at 16's )

5:45 Greyville -

DARK AVENGER ( Recent placed form all reads well and should be thereabouts )
SOLDIERS CODE ( Still no luck with the draw, but form looks OK )
NUTCRACKER ( No show in 2 starts to date, but supported last time and ought to be capable of better )

6:15 Greyville -

SELVAN'S JET ( Win last time was not unexpected and hopefully can progress from that )
NOORDHOEK ICE ( Another who won last time and do feel the new trip could eke out more )
CHALCEDONY ( Fair effort on first run in the area and should be staying on at 25's )
