Starting off over in South Africa, hoping for the FC / TC -

2.40 Fairview -

PLACIDO ( Has won when fresh, so 12 week break not a concern. Recent form not so good, but dropped for that and should be finishing nicely at 40's )
LAKE OF LIGHT ( Lightly raced and won his maiden only just his 3rd start. Tougher today, but low mass and EW shout 20's )
EVENING STORM ( Big step forward latest and S'Manga Khumalo's services have been retained )
 
4.40 York - CROQUEMBOUCHE - Dangerous front runner who was 2nd in this last year. Every chance if repeating that run today and reappearance 4th a fair run.
 
Outsider Lucky 15 for the other South African meeting of the day -

5.25 Greyville - MARK MY CARD - Won her first 2 starts and just the one stinker to date. Has a win and place from just 2 course runs and is dropping in class today. Interesting EW shout at 20's

6.00 Greyville - PAX AETERNA - First 6 runs all pretty decent, but last 6 all poor. Would have needed the run last time off a long break however and just can't ignore at 100's.

6.35 Greyville - JAMA - Fair comeback run, fitter now, lightly raced and capable of contesting this c & d where he is 1 from 1.

7.10 Greyville - ICE RUN - Back to back wins were followed by a very poor effort. Not really challenging last time either, but only beaten 5l. Only his 2nd try at the minimum trip, but IMO does have the pace to lead. Probably gonna need to though and the doubts may explain the 20's
 
6.05 Kilbeggan - JAIME SOMMERS - Seemed to benefit from the better ground last time and of interest today on hurdle debut.

6.50 Hamilton - NORMANDY KNIGHT - Got doubts over a number of these, so whilst this one could be better weighted, the odds of 7/1 do look about right.

8.30 Hamilton - WOTNOT - Was made Co - Fav on recent stable debut, but was a no show. Return to 6f should suit and potentially very nicely handicapped.

9.05 Dundalk - SET TO FIRE - Solid form and back on a sound surface today.
 
7.45 Greyville - 3 at prices in the last -

CLASSY CHIC at 20's
ROY'S EMERALD at 40's
ILLUSIONATION at 11's
