Morning all.

For the past couple of hours I’ve had my head in the RP, the SP and Oddschecker but I’ve gone down the more likelier route of delivering 4 winners via tea leaves in the bottom of the cup and my lucky pin.

Catterick 12.20 DULCE PANEM @ 11/2

Having his 2nd British start after finishing 5th of 12 three weeks ago. Only two horses from the race have run since, Celtic Flame 4th, Wig Wam Wiggle 9th, and both won.

Ascot 1.30 TURTLE WARS @ 6/1

3rd last time and closing. Geraghty on board this time.

Ascot 3.50 MIDNIGHT MAESTRO @ 7/2

Decent run here last time behind Elgin, who has since gone on to win again.

Newcastle 7.45 THELLO @ 7/2

Flying at the finish here 5 weeks ago. Not clear run.

EW doubles and up. BPG

Good luck today

2.25 Fairview - MINDS EYE - Generally consistent up to last time, but that poor run did prompt the h'capper to reduce his mark. Seems to be a better polytrack horse, so enough going for her at 15/2.

MINDS EYE 2nd. Going with 4 outsiders now -

3.35 Catterick - ITS ALL ABOUT ME - Fair form to date and whilst need to improve to win, does hold a solid place chance at 20's

4.00 Ffos Las - MAY'S MILAN - Some promise in Irish Points and certainly bred to make an impact in Bumpers. Risky, but happy taking that chance at 25's

5.30 Dundalk - INTENSE STARLET - Draw could have been kinder and does need to find his old English form. Big threat at 25's if anywhere near there.

7.00 Dundalk - ALWARDA - Needs this for his mark, so an obvious red flag, but did improve greatly on 2nd start and any further improvement has him dangerous at 33's.

4.15 Greyville - KINKY'S CRUSADE and FOREIGN CANDY - KC has run some fair races to date and is seldom far away at the business end. FC lost a length and ran green on debut, so not a bad effort in the circumstances. Certainly bred to do better and is a possible improver. Both capable of going well at 16's.

7.15 Newcastle - ASTROPHYSICS - Dangerous on best form, notably 2 ago and an EW threat at 10's

8.15 Newcastle - MAJDOOL - Unseated rider here 21 days ago. Potentially well handicapped though and another win an each-way shout at 10's

I'm cursed fellas, fucking cursed. Longest losing run i've ever been on. I mean look at those prices, two of them ended up going off favourites in relatively small fields. Not one of the four were placed..
I've put myself on a break till boxing day.

Unlucky mate, swings and roundabouts, I'll have to keep a close eye on you now through December when the winning run kicks in.:unsure

Surprised you never had a little e/w dabble on wee Michael Owen lol.

lol did he win?

Honest Slick, even by a worst gamblers law of averages i've been unbelievably shite on the horses. I'll be back Boxing Day, i generally do ok Boxing day.

listening to the radio on the way home from work they said he won but on watching the sports news when I touched down he most definitely finished second by a country mile.

Either way, for a novice at his age he did excellent providing the race wasn't a set up.
