Having a go at Greyville again tonight, but had time to have a look at the last over at Fairview ( also South Africa ) and decided to have a dart in this big field h'cap -

3:35 Fairview - 18 runner sprint and picked out 4 all at big prices. Can keep the stakes low at said prices, but a FC or TC would be huge -

ACE ANTONIUS ( Moderate recent form, but back off a break and has gone well fresh in the past. Early 33's may be a shade big )
ESS EL KAY ( The " sensible " one of the quartet at 16's and 2 of his last 3 runs do read well. Should be staying on at the finish )
FLY ME OVER ( Lightly raced 6yo who ran well last time over shorter and has won at the trip )
BIG AMBITIONS (New yard today and interesting taking a big drop in trip. Will certainly get a pace to aim at and chance at 66's if able to lie handy )
 
Lucky 15 for Greyville -

3:50 - DRURY LANE - 2nd last 2 runs, with the first of those being at a gutting 100/1. Step back in trip no problem and one assumes will try to get to the front from stall 9.

4:55 - WILD NAMAQUA - Not everything went his way last time, but still ran out a cosy winner. Not weighted out of it today and can follow up from a fair draw.

5:55 - WHOOPS A DAISY - Would have said that she may need this run, but the booking of Muzi Yeni and the early price of 9's suggests differently.

7:10 - PEARLY KING - Handles the Poly and has won at the trip. Not been at his best recently, but is way below his best mark and is a capable sort when held up. Should have enough pace to aim at and certainly cannot discount at 66's
 
4:25 Greyville - Pushing for the Forecast with these -

TEXAS COWBOY ( Tough to knock his recent efforts and hopefully been freshened up by the break )
WINTER AURALIUS ( Bit of money around for him last time and been gelded since that run )
JASON ARGO ( Better last twice and big chance if holding that form )
KING JOFRY ( Improved second time here and immediately upped in trip. Fair EW chance with decent apprentice booked )
 
5:25 Greyville - TURNUPTHEHEAT and WINTER AXE - Both backed pretty much on price with the latter being 33's and WA being 100's. To be fair both would need to be on a real going day, but some EW appeal.
 
6:25 Greyville - GOLDEN EARINGS - Hard to oppose the 2 fancied runners, but taking up to much of the market for me. GE is perfectly capable and IMO is the best of the rest.

7:43 Greyville - ROY'S GUARDIAN and QUINTELLA - Both will need plenty of pace to aim at and there does look enough speedy sorts to play into their hands

Nice winner with ESS EL KAY at a drifting 20's. AA did not get the clearest of runs but was only placing at best. DRURY LANE gets the L15 off to a good start as well with an all the way success.

6:40 Wolverhampton - SANTAYANA - Sadly no help from the h'capper, so got to hop that the application of blinkers does the trick. Doubts about a few of these, so happy risking the 10's.
 
6:25 Greyville - NIGHT FROST - Already with Golden Earings, but adding NF for the Forecast. Best draw for a while and interesting at 20's
 
Tailed off a bit in the middle, but at least finished on a winner, with QUINTELLA taking the last. 4 winners in total along with a 3rd at 10's. Couple of annoying 4th's ( took 33's on one of them and the other was involved in a 3 way photo for 2nd ) but overall a fair profit.
