LECTURE'S LUCK ( Below par latest after good win this c & d, capable of better and about right at 14's )
PRAIRIE ROSE ( Has reached a competitive mark and it showed with two much improved recent efforts. Should prove competitive again at 8's )
FRENNI ( Bit better latest and whilst has it all to do, not sure he should be 66's )

3.50 Newbury - GET INVOLVED - Won over hurdles at this meeting last Year, but yet to transfer that form to fences. Cheekpieces reached for and hoping that has an effect at 22's.

5.25 Newbury - AGATHA ROSALIE - Nicely bred newcomer and the stable does well this sphere.

7.15 Newcastle - NAME THAT TOON - Not really convinced by any of these, so focussed mainly on the outsiders. NTT, switches back to Tapeta and is capable of fair form. Hoping for a going day at 33's.

9.00 Dundalk - RIDEONASTER - Bred to be a decent stayer and the switch to the Halford yard can hopefully bring benefits

JUST A REMINDER ( Has work to do on current form, but back off a short break and remains lightly raced )
CLASSIC DELIGHT ( Holding her form nicely and looks a contender over this c & d at 7's )
ISABELLE ( Some improvement lately, but continues to edge down the ratings. Not always up for the fight, but too tempting to ignore at 25's )

4 Outsiders for the 2nd South African meeting of the day -

4.00 Greyville - PHILOSOPHER - Hinted at promise in 2 runs to date, but have to admit, bit of a hunch that this one is much better than shown. Can't argue with the early 50's on offer.

4.35 Greyville - HO'OPONOPONO - The likely strong gallop should favour this one, as he does his best work at the finish. Fair EW chance at 12's.

5.10 Greyville - DRURY LANE - Was always a danger here when trained by the late Colin Scott and does seem to run well off a small break. Well below last winning mark and likes to be prominent, so may have to go for broke from stall 12. Eliminated 2 at the prices and 2 because of the jockey, so left with this one at 25's.

5.50 Greyville - JASON ARGO - Tougher h'cap than he usually contests, but slighlty better last 2 and now down to below last winning mark. RIsky, but was expecting 16's, so no choice but to have a dabble at 33's.

SELVAN'S JET ( Got going a bit late last time, so the extra 2f today will help. Generally consistent and should be thereabouts at 10's )
THE MONEY MAN ( No wins lately, but soild enough all recent starts. Likely to run his race at 10's )
NIGHT LOCK ( Last time proved a bit far, but good record this c & d. Fairly weighted and interesting at 25's )
