Money for both, but only ASIAN STAR justified this. Was able to negate the wide draw and came through nicely to win at 7's.
12.05 Greyville - LEGEND and GINGERBREAD MAN - Looks a top class h'cap, but just don't feel this pair should be so unfancied. Legend is the lightest raced of the field, has 2 wins from 7 and returns to his favoured Mile today. Been handily dropped for a couple of poor efforts over shorter and should be running on nicely today at 16's. GM is better than his recent form indicates and finished just under one length adrift of the top weight back in July and gets 2lb pull for it. That one is 5's and GM is 20's,so all in all, looks a fair EW option, especially in an 8 runner contest.
