Early action from South Africa ( 2 meetings ) just kicked off on ATTHERACES. Had a look through the first few races and plumped for the following -

11.40 Turffontein - CANDY KISSES - Fair debut effort when bumped at the start, will strip fitter today, top jockey up and whilst short at 4's, all signs point to a leading run.

12.00 Kenilworth - FRITZ NOBIS - Opened short, but drifted on debut and ran accordingly. Should come on for the run and represents an in-form stable, so very surprised to see the early 40's on show.

12.15 Turffontein - MIESQUE'S RUMBA - Big drifter last time and ran his first shocker in a while. H'capper has kindly dropped him to a rating of 53 and assuming last time was simply a blip, can get involved at 14's.

1.35 Turffontein - CRANBERRY CRUSH - Comes here in fair form, has a good draw, looks nicely weighted and the booking of Keagen DeMelo looks significant. Should be thereabouts at 7's.

2.40 Newmarket - GALLIFREY - Latest effort when upped to 1m4f here was pretty useful. Needs more in this company, but hoping the soft ground can bring said improvement at 25's.

3.35 Newbury - HELLO GIRL - Bit to find dropped to 5f, but the big field and soft ground will help at 50's.

5.00 Newmarket - ANFAASS - Failed to beat one home in two starts this season ( virtually pulled up latest ) but showed enough last year to remain of interest. Out again quickly, so presumably no ill effects from last run and bred to appreciate the ground, so enough going for him at 14's.

5.20 Newbury - MUNSTEAD STAR - Placed in maidens over 1m4f/1m5f and brings plenty of potential to her h'cap debut. Could easily go well at 8's.
