2.50 Turffontein - Big field for this Oaks trial and going with 3, all at EW prices -

BEAUTE NOIRE ( Moderate form after showing promise, but this is her 2nd run back off a break. Needs to improve, but capable of doing so and has the 2 draw to work with. Interesting at 20's )
ROUGE ALLURE ( Caught out wide and then went off too fast on last couple. Better than those 2 and do feel she will get the trip. Chance at the weights at 40's )
ROYAL UTOPIA ( Easy win latest, but this is a big step up in class. Muzi Yeni retains the ride however and we know he gets the trip. EW shout at 33's )
 
3.00 Kenilworth - BEST NUT EVER - Still lightly raced and has improved with each run to date. Looked fit enough going to post and sneaking in a fair EW bet at 15/2.
 
Derby trial now and going with a couple, both at decent prices -

3.20 Turffontein - MUNTAHAA and OKAVANGO DELTA - Muntahaa, won well last time, but this is a big step up in class. Lightly raced, nicely bred and represents MikeDeKock, so no great shock if he proves good enough. OD has done nothing since his win 3 ago, but has the blinkers left off today and can see him out - running his price of 50's.
 
3.55 Turffontein - CHAMPAGNE HAZE and SPLENDID GARDEN - CH disappointed last time after good earlier form, can still feature though at 7's. SG not so good last twice, but has an excellent c & d record and cannot rule out at the weights at 16's.
 
4.30 Turffontein - Going with 3 in the Grade 3 sprint -

AL DANZA ( Lightly raced and big chance at 14's, based on penultimate run )
MOVIE SHOW ( Solid enough lately and possible front runner at 16's )
BE MINE TONIGHT ( Shade disappointing last twice, but takes a welcome drop in trip. Has a squeak at the weights and EW chance at 33's )
 
5.05 Turffontein - Completing the card with 3 ( One fancied and a couple of rags ) in this tricky looking maiden -

HOUSTON ROCKET ( Lightly raced, Strydom up and one of the more likely ones at 5's )
ZIPPA ( Worth a shot this trip and could improve for it at 50's )
THE COUNSELLOR ( Needs pleny of improvement at 66's, but nicely drawn and top young jockey booked )
