10.35 Turffontein - Saw an unraced sort was EVS, and not keen on the 2nd FAV either, so gone with 3 instead, all at EW prices -

RAYO ( Stable 2nd string and only moderate on debut, fitter now, may do better over the longer distance and would expect improvement today at 25's )
ROMAN FLIGHT ( Good signs on debut, when spotted making late headway could progress over the extra 2f and can see him opening much shorter on course than the early 25's )
SPICE QUEEN ( Better latest, cracks top draw & could improve for the extra. Fair EW at 14's )

2.40 Newbury - MELODIC RENDEZVOUS - Drops in grade and ran well for a long time behind Yanworth last time out.

3.10 Lingfield - SHOULDER TO SHOULDER - Not threatening on debut, but from a good sprinting family and should do better in time. Would expect better today at 25's.

3.20 Navan - CREHELP - Stable knows the family of this one well and back to 2m4f after poor h'cap debut.

5.35 Navan - ZEN MASTER - Makes his stable debut for a trainer who has a ggod record in Bumpers. Possible improver at 25's.

5.00 Newbury - SUNSHINE MOUNTAIN and HAVE THIS FOR NOW - Couple that may just out - run their prices of 66's and 33's respectively.

11.40 Turffontein -

PRINCE OF WAR ( Fair efforts lately and improved in last time. Capable of threatening at 12's )
DOMENICO ANGELO ( Back off a long break, but fair debut and subsequently gelded. Fitness the main issue and this explains the 9's on offer )
LIGHT THE NIGHT ( Slow away and not given a hard time on debut. Bred to do better and expecting more today at 66's )

12.15 Turffontein - ORTIGIA - Does not look the strongest Maiden ever, so happy siding with this nicely bred debutante at 22's.

2.00 Turffontein - Gone with these 3 in the Grade 2 Gauteng Fillies Guineas over the mile -

BABBLING BROOKE
( Below par latest after good prior form [ winning 3 of first 6 career starts ], competitive over this c & d and decent outsider at 20's with Strydom booked )
POOL PARTY ( Bit to find at the weights, but holding form nicely and cracks the top draw. One of the better looking " rags " at 50's )
REDBERRY LANE ( Easy maiden win this trip when improving for the blinkers. Lightly raced, champion stable and respected from favourable draw )
