10:35 Turffontein - SHE DONE GOOD - Rare 4f race and all the runners are newcomers. One of the trainers has half the 8 runners which confuses things, but SDG looks the part on breeding.

12:45 Sandown - COCO DES CHAMPS - Handicap debutante, who should be able to get involved off 112.

1:20 Sandown - LIGHTENTERTAINMENT - Pair of recent 2nd's of this mark and does know how to win races.

3:40 Chepstow - THE MODEL COUNTY - Probably did not beat much in Irish Point win, but equally can't judge too harshly her heavy defeat in a valuable Bumper on rules debut. Was in touch for a fair way that day and I would assume she is capable of better. Certainly interesting at 25's.

7:15 Wolverhampton - RULER OF THE NILE - Hinted at ability so far and 4f extra today is either genius or madness. Certainly should not get 2m on breeding, but has been spotted " plugging on " over shorter. These contests are not usually the strongest and could easily get involved getting weight off the principles.

Could have done with one of them winning, but a 2nd at 11's and 2 x 3rd's at 20's and 25's. RULER OF THE NILE was still a bit one paced over the 2m, but should be up to winning soon on the AW.
