12.10 Scottsville - WALL TAG - Back off a short break and been gelded since last run. Just one run of note from 3 to date, but every chance based on that and the drop in trip looks suitable. Interesting at 20's

12.45 Scottsville - ROY'S PIANO - Game, if limited sort and will at least try all the way to the line at 40's.

1.20 Scottsville - LADY ELLIODOR - Plenty of unraced in the field and always possible on of them will be good enough. LE does have form in all 3 runs to date and the step up in trip could bring about improvement. Very surprised by the early 14's on offer.

2.00 Scottsville - MUSIC WORLD - Tough race for a 6 runner event, but MW is on his 3rd run back so should be at peak fitness and has a useful claimer taking off 6lb. Probably does not deserve to be among the fancied runners, but 16's does look big to me.
 
WALL TAG a winner at 10's. 15p Rule 4 on the original 20's works out better, but a nice start either way. Bit annoyed I did not investigate the race a little further as a 100/1 shot came 2nd.
 
12.45 - Adding a couple more " rags " both at 33's in the shape of GREAT SUCCESS and SECRET MESSENGER.
 
ROY'S PIANO was indeed a game sort and did run his heart out, but just got pipped for 3rd late on. Did look a live threat throughout and only beaten about 2 lengths in total. Cracking effort at the weights, but big priced 4th's never fail to annoy.
 
LADY ELLIODOR was indeed to big at the early 14's and opened 10's before going off 17/2. Ran OK in 2nd, getting beat by a well bred and clearly well readied newcomer.

2.30 Scottsville - AMOR ARDIENTE and SOUTH PAW - Pair of improving sorts, both at 16's
 
3.05 Scottsville - SORCERESS - Stable 3rd string, but lightly raced and did win sole attempt at this trip. Plenty of scope, immediately down to 81 and certainly cannot rule out at 25's.

Ended up with wins for MUSIC WORLD and WALL TAG at 16's and 10's respectively. LE was 2nd and RP 4th. Had some EW trebles going so said 4th now even more costly.
 
3.40 Scottsville - CALL ME WINTER - Decent chance at the weights and does seem better over 6f. Coming back off a 16 wk break, but has gone well fresh in the past and the early 16's looks a shade generous.
 
4.15 Scottsville - Tough handicap to complete the card and going with 3, all at EW prices -

CHAMBER MAID ( Nice win last time out on the Poly and not weighted out of it today at 7's )
SHEZALEADER ( Chance of this lower mark at 16's )
VICTORY TAKEOVER ( Continues to drop in the ratings and figuring that being drawn 17 of 17 will be ideal. Risky on a number of counts, but just too appealing at 50's )
