10.40 Turfontein - ATOMIC BELLE - Have to oppose the FAV at 4's on and AB does look the interesting one. Beaten a fair way 3 of last 4, the other effort was pretty decent as were her first 3. Was initially allocated a rating of 69 and chance at 40's if running to that level.

10.50 Scottsville - NEPTUNE'S RAIN and ROY'S HOT ASH - Pair of nicely bred newcomers at 7's and 25's respectively. Draw could have been kinder in both instances, but would certianly expect NR to be prominent. RHA is one of 4 for top owner Roy Moodley and this muddies things a bit. Good chance on breeding though and happy taking the chance.

11.15 Turffontein - Combination FC / TC with these -

SILKEN ( Shade disappointing last time, but solid before that and still well below peak mark )
DALLEY ( Risky as shockingly poor last time. Generally decent prior to that and worth a crack this trip )
ARTE ( Easy maiden win latest, but this is tougher. Win did come here and could improve agin for the extra, so no forlorn hope at 33's )

In danger of falling behind, so apologies for the lack of detail -

11.50 Turffontein - TELL MY STAR - Togh ask aganst the FAV, but best this c & d. Solid EW at 12's.

12.25 Turffontein - QUEEN ANNE and SASSI MODEL - QA has been solid to date and ran well on comebcak run. Strydom booked and looks fair at 5's. SM should prove better than debut run and happy risking the 66's.

1.10 Scottsville - SCOTCH BRIAR - Improved in latest despite casting a shoe, can feature at 20's.

1.35 Turffontein - CHAMBER MAID - Shade over priced for me at16's.

2.10 Turffontein - SPACE TORNADO - Champions cup is unpredictable and may get going too late, so preference is for ST, who holds every chance at 16's on best form.

2.45 Turffontein - NEUF DE PAPE and GENTLEMAN ONLY - Both about right at 6's and hold appropriate form chances.

3.20 Turffontein - WITCH KING - Nicely bred debutante at 20's.

2.20 Scottsville - Combination FC / TC with these -

ROY'S ROLLS ROYCE ( In good form and goes on the ground. Should be right there again )
AQUA BLUE ( Gone of in single figures last 12 runs and often on the premises. EW shout at early 10's )
KINGS APPROVAL ( Handles the ground and every chance at 20's based on penultimate run )

2.55 Scottsville - AMADORA and MISS MIDAS - Surprised neither has won by now, but this does not look the strongest maiden ever, which is probably reflected by the 6's and 8's on offer for these two.

2.50 Naas - SNUGSBOROUGH BENNY - Not much since Point win, but nicely bred, goes on the ground and trainer / jockey teamed up for a recent Leopardstown winner.

3.10 Southwell - CRACK DU TAY - Not disgaced last two, both at 100's and whilst probably more one for handicaps, does look a fair EW alternative to the odds on at 40's.

3.30 Fontwell - ROBINESSE - Gets weight going " against the boys " and chance on the pick of her form.

4.20 Naas - PAIROFBROWNEYES - Been knocking on the door all season and whilst a bit to find on ratings looks sure to run his race.
