12.05 Scottsville - Going with 3, all at EW prices in this big field maiden -

MISS MIDAS ( Frustrating sort, but the ability is there and plenty of solid form this level. Versatile as regards tactics, but has set the pace before and this is a possibility today from the plum draw. Shade big possibly at 22's )
IDEAL DUEL ( Will want longer trips in time, but nicely bred and represents top connections. Chance if able to keep pace with them, but if too detached on debut, then it could turn into a bit of a training run. Happy taking the chance at 12's )
LITTLE MISS JET ( Not fancied on debut, but got within 5 lengths. Did not go so well on 2nd start, when going off at 7's. Did take a major bump at the start though and was not given a hard time. Ability is definitely there though, which makes the 50's plenty appealing enough )

12.40 Scottsville - NIGHT LOCK - Below par latest after showing some fair form, tries further today and this is definitely worth a try as propensity to start slowly is becomming an issue. Hopefully will be staying on nicely today at 12's.

1.15 Scottsville - GROUND BREAKER and ROY'S STORMER - Both lightly raced and for me, both are too big today. They are coming out of Maidens, which always makes things tricky, but was expecting 3's and 5's, so no real choice but to back them at 11/2 and 16's respectively.

1.50 Scottsville - SOLDIER CODE - Not favoured at the weights, but in good form and still young enough to improve. Blinkers left off aswell, which could also be an advantage at 22's.

2.25 Scottsville - LITTLE CHAPEL and MARK MY CARD - LC's last 3 all read well and should be thereabouts on said form at 6's. MMC has a bit to find officially, but has produced some decent efforts on this track and is clearly better than her last two runs. Possible upset potential at 16's.

3.00 Scottsville - FIRST ANTHEM - Made some improvement second time out and a threat at 22's if improving again

2.20 Punchestown - SUTTON MANOR - Lightly raced sort who has shown plenty of ability to date. Maybe just lacks that change of gear at this level, but still likely to run his race at 14's.

3.30 Punchestown - OSCAR LANTERN - Chase debut came 7 days after his last hurdle run and was very disappointing. Had a break since then to freshen up and would expect more today.

4.30 Punchestown - FLY RORY FLY - Decent enough debut, when only fading late on. Tough up against the usual suspects ( Mullins and Elliott ), but would rather be with FRF at 16's.

4.50 Taunton - BENNACHIE - Has gone off the boil over fences and needs the switch back to hurdling to have an effect. Bits of money around and the promising George Blackwell booked, so cannot rule out at 8's.
