Starting over over in South Africa -

11.05 Turffontein - CHARLESTON HERO and SUNDANCE - CH looks a nicely bred newcomer and represents a top trainer. S'D does have 4l to find with the 2nd Fav, but different track today and hopefully can get a clearer run. On the bare form the early 33's looks about right, but would expect him to open much shorter.

11.40 Turffontein - HALF A BAR - Green and hung on debut, but very nicely bred and would expect better today at 33's.

3.20 Kilbeggan - TURFJAGER - 2nd start for the trainer and 1st over hurdlesNot really lived up to his decent breeding, but should be able to make some sort of impact 0ff 80.

3.50 Kilbeggan - JAIME SOMMERS - Made a winning hurdle debut and can hopefully follow up now stepping up in trip.

4.35 Goodwood - AQUA ARDENS - Has won on all types of ground and on a fair looking mark.

6.00 Kilbeggan - MOONLIT THEATRE - Nice hurdle debut and then disappointed when switched to a Bumper. Stays in that sphere today and hoping that was just a blip.

3.10 Turffontein - STREET FLYER - Win was followed by a slow starting 5th and an upped in trip 8th. Back to his best trip today and 3 visits to the track have garnered 3 places. Does look a tough handicap, but really don't think SF should be 33's.

Bit of money for Street Flyer and came from out the pack for 2nd at 25's. Still a shade frustrating as I felt he should have been more prominent
