10.40 Vaal - ROMAN BALLERINA - Soft ground an unknown for most of these and there are a couple of possible ones on debut. RB has yet to put a full race together, but has shown ability on all starts and Randall Simons keeps the ride. For me, one of the more likely ones at 8's

11.10 Vaal - SECRET ISLAND - Lost ground at the start on debut, but did travel nicely for a lot of the race. Initial exertions did take there toll and she faded late on, but will have learnt a lot from the experience. Top jockey Keegan DeMelo keeps the ride and definite upset potential at 33's

Poor to date, but not playing any safer. Can't have the FAV in the next ( not at 2's on anyway ) so instead going with 3 outsiders -

11.45 Vaal -

KYE KELLY ( Nicely bred newcomer at 20's )
ABSOLUTE GEM ( Showed glimpses on debut and bred to do better, so possible improver at 33's )
ARABIAN WORD ( Stable 2nd string, but jockey bookings on first 3 rides suggest the ability is there. Another good young jockey ( Lyle Hewitson ) takes over today and a big leap forward would not shock at 50's )

12.50 Clonmel - OCHTO MILANO - Should probably leave alone at 200's, but could not resist one of Milan's at such a price, especially, with Rachel Blackmore booked.

Richard Johnson is bloody useless. One winner. I could of rode at least 2 of them home to 1st place ffs.

I've got an e.w yankee at Chelmsford for later though...

Good job i've been keeping my stakes small, not even close to a profitable day this week. Month even.

New shift pattern next month, time off in the week, a quiet house, no distractions, i'm hoping to get more studying of the form in, rather than always rushing lately. Good luck tomorrow.
