11.40 Vaal - JET SAILOR and MAN THE FORT - Pair of decent EW shouts at 20's.

12.50 Vaal - MIESQUES RUMBA - Always risking backing long time maidens, but this one has enough form in the book and has a decent c & d record. Can get involved at 10's

2.35 Vaal - ANGEL'S POWER and MANX PARK - AP is in fair form and runs the track well. Shade big maybe at 11/2. MP can throw in the odd stinker, but is capable at this level on a going day. Big run would not shock at 28's

12.15 Vaal - Gone with 3 at prices in this Stakes event -

STUNNED ( Bit of a " mystery " effort last time, but comes out well at the weights and has a good course record. Interesting one at 12's )
MUNTAHAA ( Does look held on last run, but not sure that justifies the 16's on offer for one so lightly raced )
GENTLEMEN ONLY ( Does have a turn of foot, but never truly convincing over the trip. Top jockey on board though and if he gets it right, the 25's will look big )

4.25 Salisbury - VANITY QUEEN - Fair comeback run and whilst needing to raise her game, I always felt that she would show more this year at 3.

5.35 York - SILVA ECLIPSE - Fair effort last time off a 204 day break, but was a 3 time winner prior to that. Just had the 7 starts as well, so can hopefully resume improvement at 12's.

8.10 Clonmel - MILLEN DOLLAR MAN - 26 race maiden and has work to do based on last run. Better than that for me though, so definite EW interest at 20's.

8.30 Newmarket - NATIVE SOLDIER - Turf debut and only his 4th run in total. Needs to bounce back from a poor comeback run, but 16's is more than fair for him to do so.

1.25 Vaal - DAWNBREAKER - Original thought was not to bother as do rate the FAV, but not at 6/4. Few question marks over several of the others, so its this one by a process of elimination. Is lightly raced, ran much better last time and has the plum draw, so enough positives for me at 10's.

2.00 Vaal - Too many fancies to have a strong bet, so going with 4 and really looking for the Forecast minimum -

VULCAN ( Solid course record and happy to include based on 2 of last 3 runs. Spot of value maybe at 10's )
SIDE SHOW ( Improved run latest over this c & d and still quite nicely h'capped. Should be thereabouts at 8's )
NEUF DE PAPE ( Generally goes off a single figure price, so immediate appeal at 14's. Does have to leave a poor run last time behind, but is 2 from 7 at the track )
MASTER RUNNER ( Big drifter on first run in the region and finished distressed. Outside form looks OK and that comeback run will at least have " blown the cobwebs " away. Possible improver at 25's

3.50 Vaal - 3 at EW prices + FC / TC with the following -

CUMBERLAND ( Inconsistent, but capable on a going day and drops into a 0 - 73. Interesting back at 6f and could try to make all at 16's )
QUEEN'S JET ( Best recent effort [ 3 ago ] came over this distance and much better drawn today. Versatile as regards tactics and one of the more interesting at 20's )
TOUR OF DUTY ( Muzi Yeni aboard for the first time and down to a rating of 61. Needs to improve on recent runs, but would not be shocked if this occurred at 20's )

8.40 Clonmel - PERLE ROSE and MISS BEMO - PR has performed well in both Points to date and is certainly bred to make an impact at 16's. MB is way more speculative at 100's, but again is nicely bred.
